Artists,

Thanks to everone that participated in the 1st Diablo surfboard logo! Kudos to Rhino on his 1st win. This logo is for the same product line and will be the logo on some of the boards that will need a basic logo (about 4" diameter).

We need a pretty SIMPLIE TRBAL logo, It should be Black and Round. I would lile it to be similar to the styles I've attached whic I like.

Very interesyting.

For this one, I really want to keep it simple - just a tribal symbol much lie the one in the earlier attached document - I really would like the same style in a circle.

This particular board design will be the focal point rather than the logo. I'm not even that concerned about it having much of a "diabol-esque" theme either. Just tribal.

Thanks for the entries. So far, DBENTON25 is our favorote. Contest isn't over yet though. We really want to keep it pretty basic and simple. The logo definitely needs to be round andI really like the logo style from Primal Surf (original attachement) from New Zealand (perhaps a Maori influence?).

DBENTON25 - can you take the 1:33 pm post 2/15 and completely outline the circle and maybe simplify the tribal details just a little bit? Do like the skull,

I plan to DECLARE A WINNER ON SATURDAY. Additional entries are welcome. The closer to the attached styles, the better in terms of intricacy and style.

I think I want to focus on DBENTON2's design and see if we can't warp this baby up!

DBENTON25 - Like the last one a lot. Can you incorporate RHINO's very kewl DIABLO font into the logo in the space between the horns? Can you also make the edges of the outer circle all the same thickness?

Also, I like the concept of tribal tattoos on the skull (think Mike Tyson :box:) like MUTE & Rhino had their skulls and would love to see the skull with them. I've attached a sample!

Cool - I like the 3rd version so far. I think what I would really like to see is the "diablo" font above the skull at the top of the logo (between the 2 horns). The tribal design w/in the skull doesn't need to bee too intricate - thicker lines, etc. I love the concept but just don't want it to look too busy.

Here it is with the "Diablo" between the horns. Also I've played around with thickness and the pattern of the tribal lines inside the skull. I got your email regarding sending this to you today.
