Need logo fast - $100

Hi all,
Ok I need a logo for my new company- Artisan Fundraising. I've had so many people promise me something and not deliver, someone told me about this site and how great it is. I've been looking through and have to say I'm impressed and hoping someone can give me what I'm looking for.

The company sells engraved bricks and tiles to organizations looking to raise money (I.e. churches, hospitals, pta's, schools, day cares, veterans associations). The engraving varies depending on the organizations preferences, they can be sandblasted, water cut and lasered. The end result is a message by the donor that will last a life time.

My thoughts have been that the logo should uniquely represent what my company offers (the product), but I've recently been told that car dealers don't put pictures of their cars on their business cards nor nike sneakers, etc. So maybe I'm thinking incorrectly. What I do know is engraving looks very cool and if it's what I'm offering then "why not"? You tell me! My favorite color is deep purple that may or may not work for an appropriate/professional image but who knows. I would like to use the logo on letterhead, business cards and my website. I'm not sure how this works but I'd like to know that I can use the final choice in any way necessary for my business.

Yes I realize this. I actually designed it before they're post but that's alright. They are similiar but different in a lot of ways. If it's a problem, then do what you will but maybe we could see what Joy thinks first? Thanks, and sorry :/

I like what I'm seeing, I'm glad I tried this. Xjeria I love the cursive A and the use of purple very cool... Nick I'm sorry you both had the same idea, maybe you can try another concept? Carl I think your design is nice but not quite what I had in mind.

I'd like to see some other designs styles if possible. Thank you everyone for giving this a go, I'm so exciting about this avenue of design concept!

Would you mind changing the colors to shades of purple rather than the red and yellow? Just something to try. What would you think of a softer font? I don't mean to be a pain, I'm just trying to make a final decision and want to see a couple of last things before I do.

No changes to the first design, I had the idea but it didn't work with the 3d design. I've always liked your design but have asked one of the other designers to make some color changes to his. It's a little abstract which sort of stuck so I'm wavering. If you have another idea I'd love to see it. I do have to make a decision soon because I need to get things going, I'm just having a hard time committing to a design so far.

These designs look great! I'm pulling my hair out trying to decide... Raja, I really like what you've done, however I'm not sure if the red is too much.. The first one you did seemed a little mellower with the black, but still both are very very cool...

Can you do me a favor... Can you make the color of the top busines card the same as the bottom. I like that layout best but would like to see it in the purple rather than the gray. I loved what Raja did with his design but I don't think it's me. It's come down to your design and Eagle's. Thanks

First of all, thank you for being so polite and good hearted with the designers, I think I would be saying for all of us if I say that it's a real pleasure to have a contest holder like you here :tup: :D

The only thing I need to remind you is that to request a change in a business card is, technically, out of contest's description :) You can ask the designers to do it, and they may decide to accomplish, but it means you're making them doing a double work: a logo and a business card in the same contest ;) The point of showing a business cards and letterheads during a logo contest is to give the contest holder an idea of how would the design look in use on a specific format, not to show a business card design.

Also, these designs (business cards, letterheads etc.) can not be inlcuded in the files the winner sends you, as they aren't part of the contest. You can, however, run another contest later for business card only, or for the complete stationary set (business card, letterhead, envelope). If you like one of the already posted designs and want to have it, you can add the money for the business card to the contest prize amount and let the winner have it all :D

I'm back, I apologize that I didn't write before I left but I'm sure everyone understands things being hectic when going away. I've made my decision and would like to thank everyone that entered a design and commend your creativity it has been really great seeing the work you do. The final choices boiled down to Xjeria and Eagle. I've decided that Eagle's design will work best for the industry I am involved in. Xjeria I'd like to thank you so very much for you great design and let you know that it was a very hard decision. Thanks again everyone and my apologies for not being sure how DO worked in some ways and for maybe asking for too much. I'm not sure what happens now but I'm thinking I'll be sent the logo in all necessary formats.

Thanks for choosing my design. :) Would you please confirm which font you prefer? The image reference is in the top right corner and just indicate which design (upper/lower etc)...

I'm not sure what you mean exactly (graphically challenged :blink: ).

I like the main font you used in the both logo submissions and of course your second submission in the purple. Does that help or am I so off the page in what you're asking??? :huh:
