Hi all, (Admin code added by Palmer - J421854W)

Longscape Services

My name is Bill and I am looking for a logo for our landscape business. We are a landscape construction, design firm looking to enhance are image. We are looking for a creative professional appeal to the logo. Our service reach are mainly dealing with high-end residential and commercial accounts. Our outline for this contest is to come up with a logo that we can use on our vehicles (which are all metallic silver and red), business cards, advertising brochures, and headers. Are colours that we would like in the logo are (red, black, and silver) and the colors can arranged so we can put the logo on red and silver vehicles. I would also be interested to incorporate the following in the logo ( Design - Construction - Maintenance) We would also like to have to logo with a shadowing behind the lettering? I will have you the experts be the judge. I will try to answer all questions in a timely fashion as accordingly. The prize will be $70.00 and hopefully be awarded by March 31st. Thanks and good luck.

Bill

Hi to everyone and thankyou for your posts:

I will try to give a brief description of what I think of each post:

John: I like the layout, but the three squares, do you think we can incorporate into a landscape perspective, and maybe incorporate are name into the design?

Ubergerleek: I also like the layout ,maybe we can use the name as a drawing? Are state tree is the hemlock, maybe we can try something on that line? I also like the swoosh design in other logos. thank you for your post.

Huhhso: thank you for your post, I like the tree idea, Are state tree is the hemlock, so maybe we can try something on that line, also the lettering is a little large for our taste, we do like the shadowing though. thanks

jdesign: thank you for your posts, the three stripes, and dots are a good start, but do you think we can try using that in a landscape theme? also are colors that we would like to use in the logo are silver, red, and black. keep up the good work. thanks

Thanks for all the posts, keep up the good work. I will try to respond to each additonal posts after my previous posts.

j-design:
Thank you for your posts. I was wondering if we can try a logo in which the entire logo, name would be boxed in, such as a outline around the logo? also could we try something else that would be catchy, and would be an easy logo to remember. Thanks

Huhhso;
Thank you for your post ,i like the overall design, with the logo, could we try something besides grass, in which I think that is what it is? Also if you could try a few different color combinations, in which what it would look like on a (red, or silver truck). We are looking for a logo that is easy to remember, and is eye-catchy. Thanks.

Ondarox:
Thank you for your post. I like the logo ,it stands out, you think we can try something else in the logo, to represent our name. I was thinking we can use our actual name in the drawing. Just a thought. I will let you be the judge. Thanks and I look forward to seeing your designs. Thanks.

Chelle:

Three different variations. Stylised tree age markings, a hemlock tree, and a branch/leaf from a hemlock.

Hi again, and thanks for the neat posts:

Chelle: I like it a lot, you think you could try the lettering in a different font and maybe some different color variations? Just an idea

J-design: We like your posts a lot also, maybe we can try a few diferent color variatons and i like the logo with the hemlock tree, I am wondering how it would look on silver vehicles.

Also I am going to show all these too are owner on April 1st instead of March 31st.

*I was also looking at other contests, and I like the Harvery Lawn Care design, I don't want to take his idea but I am throwing that out if anyone wants to try that in that variation. Thanks to everyone, all the posts look great

hi to all, the posts are looking great, i will make a few comments on the new posts and will make a decision tomm afternoon. Thanks

chelle: The design looks great, could you try moving the design-construction-maintenance below the name, and try a few different fonts, and also maybe the tree behind the logo, like a shadow? it looks great right now but i am just trying to look at it from all angles. Thanks

J-design: Your design looks great also, could you try the lettering in a different font, and maybe out line the letters and the tree in black? The red-silver looks sharp. thanks

Hi to all,

Well my owner has made a decision and before i say anything else, I would like to thank you all who have participated, and I thought that all the posts looked great.

Thankfully I was not the one who made the decision because some of the posts were very hard to choose from. Finally my owner has made the decision and the winner is Ondarox . There are some small adjustments we will ask ondarox make to his design upon winning. :)

It was hard to choose between Chelle and J-design also upon there great posts, but Ondarox's design is simple and contemporary. I want to thank you all again and we will be using your site again for future promotions and the talented artists on this site.

Palmer, what do I do now?

Thanks again!

Bill

Congratulations Ondarox.

Bill, thank you for posting your competition here at Design Outpost. We hope you mention us to your friends. :)

Palmer, what do I do now?

Usually you would talk with Ondarox via PM to work out final arrangements for the logo. :)
