Question for picture transfer

Hi everyone,

I have a question for the computer experts. I have a kodak digital camera in which i download to a .jpg file on my computer. My question is, how do I change it to a .bmp file because the program that i want to use on the computer, wont accept a .jpg file? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Hi Bill,

What kind of graphic programs do you have installed on your computer?

In most programs you would open your jpg file, then choose "save as". Under the "save as" there should be an option to choose different file formats, and so you would choose ".bmp" :)

The software that came with your digital camera should be able to do the above mentioned process.

If you don't have anything on your computer that will open a jpg and allow you to do a conversion...I would recommend "IrfanView", just do a search on google for it. Nice, quick, small and free graphic program.
