Hello,

I need to have this logo completed by March 5, 2004.

I'd like to have a logo designed for my business Right Way Meds.

We are "Americas Sword & Shield for Uninsured Prescription Drug Buyers."

We provide savings of up to 80% off top name brand medication.

You can go to our web site http://www.rightwaymeds.com for an overview.

Currently we are a start-up company and we're looking for the logo to complete our corporate identity.

The colors I like are blue, silver, white and black.

I logo that I like is one that y2marketing uses and you can view it by going to http://www.y2marketing.com.

I look forward to seeing your designs.

Warm regards,

Mark Schiller

Hello :)

Here's my first submission to your contest. I suggested health with a heart formed with 2 swoosh traces, pointing at "your on-line pharmacy" . Also I included a pill ;) Let me know what you think, and if you want changes, don't hesitate to ask.

Gilles. :)

Raja,

I think this design has a bit of a commoditzed look and feel to it. I don't want to be a commodity. I want to stand out as Americas Sword & Shield for Uninsured Prescription Drug Buyers.

You probally got the phrase "Your online pharmacy" off my site, but to tell you the truth every other pharmacy out their says the same thing, so I'd like to forget that.

Gilles,

I like your creativity in this design.

You probably got the line "Your On-line Pharmacy" off my website.

This is one phrase that is on every other pharmacy site out there, so I'd like to get away from it.

Instead we are "Americas Sword & Shield for Uninsured Prescription Drug Buyers"

We do this by offering people the ability to “Purchase Their Prescription Medication without Draining Thier Savings, Jeopardizing Their Health and Squashing Their Quest for Living Longer."

I hope this helps and I like the start you've gotten off to.

Warm regards,

Mark Schiller ;)

I like Arthouse's design the best so far.

Fabian I like your idea of using the Statue of Liberty in the design. I'd like to just a silhouette of the statues head in a variation of Arthouses' design. If you ok it and I select it as the logo, I'll make sure to award you compensation outside of the current prize for your idea. ;)

I'd like to see a couple more vairations with this design and then I'll award the prize.

1. I like the way you have the pill swooping up. Please resize the image of the pill and swoop (leave the font the same size) to make it a bit smaller.

You can look at the y2marketing logo and make it simular to that in the way it doesn't over power the company name.

Also add a globe like the one y2marketing has in their logo.

2. Same as above, but in place of the globe add the head of the statue of liberty.

Give a few color variations for each.

I think that will do it if it comes out like I think it will.

Look forward to seeing the changes and awarding the prize.

Thanks,

Mark Schiller

Hello Mark

arthouse will need to seek Fabian's permission first to use the SOL concept as that was his idea. Fabian is of course, in no way obliged to give that permission.

Can we assume that arthouse has won this competition and you only require revisions? If so, please advise as it will enable our designers to move on to other projects.

Many thanks :)

Hey Everyone,

Thanks to all of you and your design contributions.

Fabian thanks for giving Arthouse permission to use your idea in his design. :D

Arthouse has won the contest. I'll just need a couple of revisions and everything should be ok.

Thanks again for for everyone's participation!

Thanks Mark. And thanks to CreativeM for the permission to use the concept.

Mod: Should I just let Fabian and RWM work out whatever specifics they will for the use of the SOL?

And Mark S., do you like the statue the way it is in Fabian's design, or would you like it in another variation?

Since I seem to be confused, I'll post a version of what I think is the direction you want to go, and then you can let me know if we're on the right track.

Hello Arthouse,

I like the revision that you did with the SOL.

Let's try just a couple more things.

1. Make the SOL just a little bit smaller in current design. And maybe tighten up the SOl Pic. (I'll need something that will print out nicely)

2. Lets try the same thing but with just the head and Crown of the SOl. Keeping in the swooping pill.

3. Make the globe your second design A little bit fuller so that it's easier to tell it's a globe. Maye 35-45 percent fuller.

If you were thinking of a different SOL to put into the design, I'd love to see it or your thoughts.

Anyway keep up the good work! :D

Are any of these what you're looking for?

Right Way Meds

Hello Arthouse,

I think we're moving backwards in the design here.

I liked the size of the font, swoop and pill in your previous designs.

I just wanted you to make the Sol a little bit Smaller.

I thought just the head of the SOL (without the torch) in place of the globe might look good, but after seeing the modifications you made let's scratch that.

So on the first design with the SOL please make just a bit more seperation in the swoop and the SOL. Making it so the swoop doesn't blend in so much as it goes accross the SOL.

I like the size of the first globe that you made. (size meaning thickness of the lines, how the pill swooped down, ect.) The main question I got from people that I showed it to was "if it was a web" - they did not recognize it as a globe.

So that's why I wanted to see the globe a little bit "fuller". Not in the sense of thicker lines but just a little more "sphereical".

Plus I liked how you had the pill swooping down instead of up in that design.

Top 3 Designs I like:

1. Pill swooping down with globe
2. Pill swooping up with SOL
3. Pill swooping up on top of "RightWay"

Please make the changes, Put all 3 designs together in a couple of color combinationson the same sheet. I will then have them viewed by some people to help me in choosing which one will represent us best.

Thanks,

Mark Schiller

Sorry about the confusion.. there are so many versions floating around that it difficult not to get turned around.

At the top of this image are (what I understand to be) your latest requested edits. Style A is the regular version with the smaller pill swooping upward. Style B is a smaller SOL with the pill swooping upward, with the swoop edited to not interfere with the SOL. Style C is a more spherical globe with the pill swooping down.

Under those are two variations of the SOL design, of the two I think the two color version on the bottom (Style E) is stronger.

Below that are styles F - I, which just incoporate the globe and pill. The reason for that is the SOL looks strange in a color other than a blue or grey. The globes are done in different styles, so just let me know which style you prefer.

Thanks,

Aaron

Hi Aaron,

I like the first draft you made withe the SOL the best. It's the one you posted on Mar 6 2004, 09:37 PM.

Let's try one more thing and then call it done.

#1. I need something that will turnout ok when printed as two color. So on that pic please make a copy where you replace the shading, on the SOL, with white. (hopefully that will make the pic look less muddy when printed out)

Please leave everything else the same.

Thanks,

Mark Schiller

Thanks Mark, I'm glad you like it... it turned out pretty well, I think. If you want, I can give them to you in a Photoshop file, but it's created in Illustrator. I'll also give you the collection of file formats set up by the DO rules.

By the way, if this is the final, did you get everything squared away with Creative Measures for the use of the Statue concept?

Just let me know , and I'll finalize the files and send them to you.

Hi Mark, besides the SOL design, which logo is the other one? The globe and pill or the pill over the name?

The two designs are both with the SOL.

One as the blue and white and one as the blue with shading.

Were you able to use the new Photoshop layered versions of the RWM logo? Just making sure everything works ;)
