:blink: We're a relatively new church that is in need of a logo to identify our youth ministry. Our youth name is "Conviction Youth Ministries." We are looking for something that can be easily reproducible yet very radical. Any one have any ideas? If we use your logo, we will pay some compensation as well as send you your artwork on anything we reproduce it on. (Including a picture of the wall that we have an artist contracted to paint as soon as we have a logo for her to paint.)

Our youth moto is "If you don't STAND for something, you'll fall for anything...take a STAND for Jesus Christ!" Stand, incidently is our "purpose" word to remind us to: Share Christ, Thrist after God, Align with other Christians, Nourish ourselves in the word of God, and to Demonstrate Christ through ministry. So anything involving "Stand" would be great too!

Something simple. Feel free to send me in the right direction. The symbol is representing a cross as well as someone with outstretched arms to the sky.

A couple of ideas: 1) Can the font be "rougher?" Possibly to symbolize our desire to reach the unchurched - those maybe a bit "rough around the edges."
2) An artist in our church suggested having a teen (very post-modern looking) standing in front of the cross (possibly with crossed arms) planted firmly. This would help us tie STAND into the logo - Standing firmly on our convictions.

3) I'm also tossing around the idea of dropping "Youth Ministries" from the logo as long as we have the cross as a symbol for Christianity. Any feedback?

Sounds like some very good ideas. I need to look for a font that will work better. I don't have what you're looking for. I think I have an image of the teen that will work. I'm getting a little behind in some other projects. I'll try to get an update for you in a day or 2.

I really like the "Conviction Youth Ministries" part of your logo, but the verdict is still out on the people. Can you (to quote Picasso :P ) "steal" palmers's cross and use it in your logo?

Wow!! I really really like your work! That's fantastic and I'd like to use it. I have just one change though. Can we eliminate the motto line (If you don't stand....) simply because I feel like there's a lot of stuff to read. Otherwise, I think its really cool and would love to officially adopt it as our logo.

Looks great! (Again.) Could you do me one last favor? Could you use the font that was used on the very first two "Youth Ministries" with the colors on the last example (the gold crosses and burgandy Conviction)? And with that small change, it'll be perfect!
