Hi all. I'm looking for a professional looking template. Just something simple and clean, nothing too fancy. The current site is basically a placeholder so please don't use that for inspiration.
Any questions [removed, private communication prohibited].

Hi all. I was hoping for a few more responses so I'm going to extend the contest a week if that's ok. I hope that's allowed.
So the new Deadline will be Friday the 26th.
Also let me describe a little more about what we're looking for. Basically we just need the name of the site, the navigation and an area for content. It should be a simple, professional layout, and pleasing to the eye.

Any feedback on the current entries? If they're not what you're looking for, then I'd be willing to try a different approach.
Cheers,

Hi Strongholdmedia,
If you are able to provide some feedback on the two designs that have been entered, this provides valuable information for the other designers here and can assist in you receiving more entries. :)

Adding more money would help too. $100 is well below the recommended minimum.

Ok I've got some feedback for you guys. Sorry about the delay, I had to discuss this with the powers that be.
The general consensus was that lebdesign's design was close to what we want, but there's too much going on. We don't have a logo yet, (that may be our next contest) so we can't have the top header be so big. Also we wouldn't really use the Upcoming events, and the title here sections.
As for jonmulk design, we felt that it was confusing. The navigation at the bottom was a big issue as well name of the company by the lower left side. The chain has a nice effect, but it overall it wasn't what we're looking for.
I hope that was constructive and helpful.
maybe this is more towards what you are after.

lebdesign:
I need a couple of changes, I hope none of them are big ones.
1. We don’t have a logo at this time, so it you could shrink the top part so it doesn’t take up so much space that would be great.
2. We need the background changed to a solid color.
3. We only need Member Login and Newsletter. Can you put these on the right side? I'm not sure how that will make the navbar look though.
4. The font for Member Login and Newsletter is too small.
That's it for now. Any questions just ask.

Ok we need a couple more things.
1. We need that section on the left gone.
2. We need the stronghold media name the way it used to be, and the header section trimmed to a little bit above the S in shift.
3. Can you put the copyright info back into that light blue section?
Thanks

Sorry about the delay, I've been super busy lately.
I have a couple of final changes for you.
1. Please trim the top header. It's taking up too much vertical space. Can you trim it a little above the S in shift?
2. Strong Hold Media needs to be changed to Stronghold Media.
3. News Letter needs to be changed to newsletter.
4. Please remove the www.strongholdmedia.com from the top of the page.
5. Can you extend the left side of the nav bar to the left?
6. Are the images full size? If so please make the newsletter and member login a little bigger.
Since I'm so bogged down right now, I'd be willing to pay you an extra $50 to code the template. I need clean code using valid html and css. No generated code. If you can do this I'll paypal the money. If you're not up to it, it's not a big deal.

Ok the money's up there. I just have 1 more change. On the copyright section Strong Hold needs to be changed to StrongHold.
As for the coding, are you planning on making everything into images? Or are some things going to be text?

Hi there. I'm hoping that too much time hasn't passed and you can make a change for me. I've been cleaning up the code you sent me and I made a change to the design. I widened the header and navbar to a width 0f 760px. I'm hoping that you can take a look at what I've got and possibly make a clean version of these for me? When I made the changes I seem to have lost your shading and the ends of the navbar got messy. Also if you still have an earlier version, we would like the "shift" on the key and the people put back into the header. If it needs to be a little bigger thats fine. Ideally we'd like to see the header go from the bottom of the people to the top of the S.
You can see what I've done here.

Also I'd like to know if you have any suggestions that would make the site stand out from the background a little more. The feedback we've gotten lately is that everything seems to be floating on the page. Any input or ideas would be great.
Thanks in Advance,
Mike Provoost
