Is there a better way to respond to an individual design? Right now I'm posting responses to the thread -but they show at the end, not next to the design they apply to. Since I can't get to the forums but once or twice a day, there are often several responses in the meantime. Right now I'm using their name in the response. Is there a better way to handle this?

Can I end a contest early? We're getting close to the design we really like. Do we need to keep it open for the posted time or can we declare a winner earlier? I hate for others to spend their time coming up with ideas when we've already made the decision.

Thanks for your help. This has been so much fun, we're already thinking about what we can design next!

Hi Jeanette,

In response to your questions:

1. Responding to designs: you could use the "quote" button in the top right hand cornor of the post that your replying to. This will add a copy of the designer's post into yours making it a bit easier for the designer to recongize although posting the designer's name is best. The posts do get list chronologically so there and there is no way around that.

2. Ending contests early: As the paying client you have every right to end your contest early (or extend it). I would highly suggest that you give fair warning (24 hrs) to the designers so that they can post any in-progress designs that they may be working on. Who knows? Maybe an even more perfect design is nearly ready to post.
