Shannon,

We're neighbors. I am over in South St. Paul.

I LOVE Hudson. If it wasn't so far from where my wife works, we would live there right now.

On Topic:

I will be entering.

Would you like me to post a relatively high-resolution version of your logo for people to work with, Shannon?

Just post the .EPS or .AI version of the logo, if you could.

Thanks for the quick responses.

cadii: Small world. Yeah, I love Hudson also. I grew up in St. Paul Park, just on the other side of the Mississippi from you. I have family that lives over in South St. Paul, and Inver Grove Heights. I moved to Hudson when my wife an I got married. She was born and raised there. I look forward to seeing your entry.

muvment: Thanks Muvment. Would it be a higher quality than the .ai file I included in the zip file?

MOZ: I love it. No changes needed at this time. Thanks for the entry.

Thanks again everyone... Looking forward to some additional entries.

Shannon,

No, that'll be fine. When I posted, there wasn't a file attached to your post (or if there was, I missed it). That'll be cool.

Take care,
-Chris

Business Card: Full color using colors from web site.

Is full bleed available on the cards and letterhead? Do you have a preferred file format?

Michael

..and to add to kootch's post can you also get the requirements for the envelopes I.e. not all printers will allow bleed, meaning not being able to print right to the edge.

Thanks

Anne: Great submission. No changes needed at this time.

I do prefer a landscape card design vs the portrait. The business cards can be full bleed, but because I don't know where I will get the stationary and letterhead printed, we should assume that full bleed is not possible. Do any of you have recommendation of places to have full bleed letterhead and envelopes printed?

Thanks.

Is anyone having trouble with the AI file in the ZIP? It opens to a blank document for me.

Me too! I just used the tiff

Shannon,

I will be entering the contest and I can't make it part of my entry, but regardless of the outcome, I have a few different printers in the Twin Cities that can do that kind of work.

Once you determine the winner, I will be happy to let you know how to proceed with them.

Is anyone else going to enter the contest? Should I extend it to Friday?

I will enter. If you want to extend to Friday, that would be great but it's completely up to you.

Can you have the .AI file reposted? The copy in the zip file opened to a blank document for me and for Moz (and I presume others).

Palmer or another Admin, can you extend this contest until Friday, the 30th, in the contest description.

I have sent an email to the logo creator asking him to post the ai file, as the one I have is also blank.

Thanks.

Shannon,

I am still going to enter too. I will try to post tonight, or at the latest, Friday evening. But I understand if you have to end earlier on Friday.

Hope you like it. Set the letterhead and envelope up with a .25" margin, if you did decide to go with a bleed that would be no problem to change.

Kind of just guesstimated on the colors since the file was in rgb. If you went with this design, I could recommend some pantone choices, but you would inevitably need to work that out with your printer.

Can't wait to hear from you,

Josh

We still seem to be lacking an .AI file. That latest zip had a PSD file.

There isn't a working AI file. It was corrupt, and I worked in Photoshop.

Were there any thoughts on any of these designs, or revisions? I preparing for a move, and I would hate to have no access to a computer or internet for that matter and miss any revision requests. Any sort of heads up would be appreciated.

Thanks,

josh

Hey everyone, I am announcing a winner.

ElKootcho, you are the winner. I may want a couple of adjustments made, so please get in contact with me when you can.
