(Admin code added by Palmer - 2799815)

I need...

1. A full-color Compact Disc label designed to match my product graphic at http://www.profitsvaultmonthly.com/OnlineB...siness_flat.gif (http://www.profitsvaultmonthly.com/OnlineBusiness_flat.gif)
2. A full-color Compact Disc jewel case insert (front cover only - no spine or back cover) to match my product graphic http://www.profitsvaultmonthly.com/OnlineB...siness_flat.gif (http://www.profitsvaultmonthly.com/OnlineBusiness_flat.gif)

I want the same STYLE and COLORS as the above given sample. It needs to match my existing graphic as closely as possible.

I want the final jewel case insert to be delivered in either jpeg or gif file, so I don't care what software program you use to create it.
Standard size of

The graphics should be high resolution. I will be printing them on my INKJET PRINTER. No commercial printing specs required.

The label should be standard 118mm diamater.
CD insert should be 4 3/4 inches tall and 5" wide.

Again, please refer to http://www.profitsvaultmonthly.com/OnlineB...siness_flat.gif (http://www.profitsvaultmonthly.com/OnlineBusiness_flat.gif) - I want it to look VERY similar to that back.

I'll be checking back several times each day and will post comments as you make your submissions. I look forward to working with you all.

Any questions, just post them to this forum.

Thanks much and letting the contest begin!

Best regards,
Jimmy

Hi Jimmy and welcome!

Is there any way you can get us the high resolution files used to create your gif?
The designers can not take a low resolution image (like this gif) and enlarge it or make a high resolution file from it.

Any enlargement will tend to make the image very blurry and pixilized.
Low resolution for computer screen viewing is 72 dpi.
Print at high resolution should be 300 dpi or higher.

Hi Pennyln,

Unfortunately, the answer is "no."

I don't have access to any files other than the graphic mentioned in my description.

Whatever you create would need to be created from "scratch" on your end.

It ISN'T necessary that the CD label and jewel case insert match *exactly* as the provided example.

I just want them to be as similar as possible as far as the layout and colors go.

As for what "laptop" image or "globe" image you use, those don't have to match exactly.

Thanks!
Jimmy

Hi there

Here's a first draft (just sourcing the globe and laptop image now!) ;)

Hi Eagle,

Great job! Exactly what I was looking for. If you can get a matching label created, we're done here.

We can award the contest to EAGLE!

One small change. Instead of "Downloadable", could you put "Instructional."

I just realized, if they are getting the CD, they wouldn't need to "download" anything.

Other than that, that looks EXACTLY like what I want.

Super!

Hi Jimmy, you say you will be using a home setup for your printing; please run a test print on this graphic to check for colours (don't worry about size for now!)...and let me know if any fall out (they look fine on mine). I'll then adjust them accordingly.

Meanwhile, I'll work on the disc label! :)

Thanks! :)

Will this do for the Disc? (You'll never believe I nearly forgot to allow for the central cut-out! <_< ) (I've allowed 46mm, this right?...it's easily changed)

Obviously, the design suffers a little bit due to the restrictions of the disc space but it pulls together quite nicely! :)

Latest versions including one to show a section of the 300dpi version in all its crispy goodness! Can you tell I love doing stuff like this?! :D

Hi Eagle,

The colors print great. No problems at all with that.

I actually don't know what the central cut-out size is. Is the CD label you created at the actual size?

If so, I can print it to a label and see if it is correct size.

Let me know.

On the jewel case insert, the only change is the "downloadable" to "instructional" and actual size.

Everything looks great! I thought you did a super job on the label considering the space limitations.

Thanks much!
Jimmy

Hi sorry, so that's 'Instructional' on both? :) Don't worry, the actuall files I'll send are exact size for printing.

Files received! Great job. Thanks so much.

I'll definitely be using you again. When I post my next project, I'll send you an email on this thing and invite you to the project. Love your work and your turnaround time.

Super working with ya!

If I need to do anything further on this project, let me know.

Also, I had a message from you on here somewhere about posting feedback and a testimonial, but I can't seem to find it. If you'll point me in the right direction, I'll be glad to get that done for you as well.

Thanks again!

Best regards,
Jimmy

Hi Jimmy, I'm glad it all worked out well!

If you take a look in your message folders (the link (New Messages) is near the top of this page) you'll find the message I sent detailing your download location etc. :)

Now, about that advice on becoming an internet millionaire......? ;)
