Introducing Myself

Hi everyone, most people know me from SP forums. I'm into graphic/logo design mostly and I also enjoy development and a little bit of programming.

This new site looks like fun and should create some business for us young designers.

Also is anyone else having a problem with uploading their avatar?

Welcome Dan. Let me look into the avatar problem, it needs to be a certain size, I'll make the size bigger to see if that helps :)

Ok, should work now. I changed the file size that you are able to upload. Still working out the kinks on the site :)

I'm still having problems uploading an avatar. I can link to one and choose one but not upload one I get the message -

The upload failed. Please contact a member of staff to help rectify the problem

The avatar is 75x75 and 4.00 kb.


Any Idea's ?

Got it fixed now, the folder didn't have the proper permissions set. I Chmod'ed them and you can upload away now :) Make sure it's not to big, gotta conserve that disk space ;)

If you want you can also just have the avatar on your own site and then just put a link to it in the avatar settings. Good luck, I tried uploading mine and it worked for me, let me know if you're still having problems.
