I need a logo for a new company we are starting called Pride Serve. We will be offering discounted hosting targeted for the GLBT community. So what I am looking for is a logo meeting the following criteria.
1) Must reflect the "Pride" colors, the rainbow, etc.
2) Must be constrained to less then 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall
3) Must have PrideServe in it (duh)
4) Slogan is "Affordable hosting solutions for the GLBT community!"
The deadline for this project is Friday, April 11th. A decision could be made sooner. Use your imagination on this guys. Some photos would be good to use. This has the potential to be a header as well, so design with that in mind.
Thanks!

Hello Haxorboi,
Please accept this logo design as my entry into your contest.
If I may explain my thinking:
The Pride rainbow kept swirling around in my head, and I was trying to think of a way to show it,
while not looking like the "Classic" rainbow, or just straight bars of colour.
Then I thought about what was colourful (like a rainbow), and perhaps "proud".
That's when the peacock just popped into my head.
So here it is: My stylized peacock PRIDEserve logo design (with his flowing rainbow tail).
:D
Please let me know what you think... (maybe I'm totally off-track...)

I like that. I would like to see the pride serve as like a solid black or something to that effect...

Thank you.
I'm pleased that you like it (I like it too, but I think I may be biased) ;)
Here's a couple more with the "PRIDE" black, and another with "PRIDE" black and "SERVE" red.

anyway to make the blue, bluer, and then to reduce the brightness of all the colors?

Here's another variation on my original peacock logo --
It has a little more "depth".

its in vector format so resizing it is not a big issue

Hi haxorboi,
Here's another submission for your contest.
This one's different than my initial peacock design.
The arrows represent sending/receiving (data),
the top arrows are the "warm" colours while the
bottom arrowas are the "cool" colours.
This design, as with my first peacock designs, is vector-art
and therefore resolution independent and fully scaleable.
The peacock design shaded with "depth" is a raster image,
but I create all my designs with print in mind, and its
300dpi at a print size of approximately 4" x 6".
(If that concerns you at all.)

I disagree, I think you have some fine entries. 8 entries in 4 days is pretty good. Maybe you were spolied by the Detroit Solutions contest ;) Things are a bit busier now. Give them some time :)

I am going to go ahead with Huhso's middle design. That rules. This project is lame anyways.
