Hello everyone, this is my first time posting a contest here. From what I've seen so far, I'm amazed at the quality of work and variety of logos done.

This logo is for RiverForest.com, I'm not quite sure what I want so its pretty open. Please keep the logos simple and elegant.

The logo needs to be sizeable for business cards and other uses.

RiverForest.com develops websites of our own for profit. We do NOT offer web services for the public.

Please provide a PSD file.

Deadline is May 21st.

If anyone wants to submit additional logos, giving a more techy feel would be a big plus.

Please don't forget to add the .com in your logo ideas.
You do not have to redo any of the current ones that are missing it, that can be done at the end and does not effect my current decision.

If anyone still has time to submit ideas, I'd be very interested in looking at some ideas that are of a similar style as the Apple corporation. Lightly shadowed, cool crisp colors, etc.

You mentioned the Apple stuff. Are you planning on printing your logo? Adding soft shadows would require printing in 4-color process which can be much more expensive than spot color.

If you are only using for web, then it isn't an issue - but could be down the road if you ever do want to print it.

The way it looks on the web is most important, and I would definitely spend more money if needed to print a logo with shadows on business cards.

I've been playing with the wonderful filters in Photoshop
If you like the logo concept - Photoshop will most likely have a filter to get that trick MAC feel!

On the down side printing will HAVE TO BE printed process/full color. But there's alot of very cheap high quality sources :tup:

The design/colors I like are your first post on page 2 of this thread.

The pea green/cool crisp blue.

The prominent image in that post is what I like. The one that does not have the box around it, and does not have the tree stump.
