We help businesses to attract new customers, retain existing customers and increase average sales. Our customers range from a small business to a fortune 500 company. We are unique too the point that we also own and operate our own press, where 95% of companies like us, only broker their business. We all broker, but we can get the blanks and print if we choose.
We will have our own screen printer by the end of summer. We offer Art work and have many sources to use. I will be signing up for the Reseller Program with this site. We operate best under the “AQLR”
All Quantities
Quick Turn-Around
Local Service
Reasonable Cost
Thoughts on the Logo: We really want this to be a fun Logo, but it must give a big company appearance and Trust. I want that look, that when anyone gets one of our cards or handouts or is given one of our golf balls, which they will look at the Logo and maybe giggle, but also know these guys know what there doing.
I do “not” want the four leaf clovers, shamrocks, pot of gold or leprechauns. Now saying that, I’m not forbidding you from using them, if it puts this Logo in a high class.
The Crew: I’m Irish if you did not get that. I run two businesses and my wife is Active Duty Army. She has just less than two years until retirement. When her retirement happens I want her and I to run this full time. We are in Colorado Springs, Colorado and we plan on moving (maybe Vegas) at her retirement. I spent 13 years active duty and just could not take the politics any longer. We have a 15 year old, a 13 year old, then a big gap now a three year old named Erin, and our newest seven month son. We named him, Nevan Oisis Henry. I wanted his middle initial to be an “O” so it would be Nevan O Henry.

Top of the Morning to you...
Boy did I have one of those days yesterday. I could not wait until someone posted an entry. It was like waiting for the moment that we open Christmas presents. I was on pin and needles. Then the first post from Pennyln kicked it off and it was real cool.
pennyln: Thank you for being first to post. My wife and I like it but we need more of an item in the Logo. It really did make me feel it was an Irish theme.
blackspot I do like the way you added the 4 leaf clover, and that is what I'm saying, to everyone. Use those typical Irish clichés and make them high class and we don’t have a problem. This did not do it for me and I think it is the clover. Maybe we can try something else there.
Just G I liked it but it made me feel like a military patch I once wore, that hat the black widow hour glass in it. I did think it was a great start.
Huhhso This is the first time I have seen your work, and I liked the colors on the top right. I do need more of a "thing" in the logo that makes a statement. The harps did not do it for me but that is a good logo.
I was so glad to see all of you in this contest, and I really have been watching all of you for a solid month now.
Direction: I said I didn’t want those typical clichés unless you could give it a high class and blackspot showed that it could be done. These are on the right track and I don’t know how else to critique them.
I went out looking on the web for Irish Crew and found a Catholic School that has a row team that is called Irish Crew. They use the Notre Dame Fighting Irishman, and I would love something like that. I would not want him to have that fighter look. That can be something to go on, but don’t make that change your direction with what you have in mind. Remember that you all have that creative side of your mind working and mine was shut off due failure to pay the bill…
Make me work my butt off printing golf balls for you all...
Enter the contest!

05-25-2004, 05:04 PM
Hi. Just thinking about how it will look on promotional products. I mean, if you're willing to put our logo on a golf ball, shouldn't we be willing to do the same? ;)
dahasher
05-25-2004, 06:55 PM
blackspot I'm sorry this one did not rock my boat. But, I do say blackspot tip my boat over, tip it over...
arthouse I really did not like the box effect. When I look at the next two it made me think they were just flowers. I have to look at things from a distance because it is small on our give aways.
To all who have not entered: When you enter you will at least get 1/2 dozen logo golf balls. If you have not ever gotten a golf ball with a logo of any type, just wait. I have them with others logos on shelves, and it is cool. Then you will get one of them and you will have it sitting next to your computer. I don't know why this happens, but you will see when you get them in the mail.
Please don't think I'm begging, I just want to share something other than monitary reward with everyone.

Wow, I'm getting flashbacks to the 70's with that rock the boat reference ;)
I'm still thinking for you.
BTW, I had the same idea as Aaron (arthouse) and was about to post it when I saw his. Guess I won't now   .

Carl: I like the concept and would like to see the emblem done different somehow. Make the text more Irish looking. Putting it on the back of the head I do believe I have to add something to your goodie bag. We do print on almost anything…
Mike: I like logo one but don't care for that format on the second entry. Make the first entry a bit more Irish text and we can look at that one. Entry three the clover design was very good. I think the colors need a change and the text a bit more Irish look.
Huhhso: First two round logos did not like. Then the next three we did not like the first one but the next two were good. I like the derby in number two. The third one is that a light bulb above Irish? It is a good logo. Those two will make the tournament.
Matt: These are just a bit to simple for my taste.
Jason: Is that an I above the name?
Raja: Yes, Fun but Corporate.
Just J
05-27-2004, 04:42 AM
Jason: Is that an I above the name?
"I" inside of a circle making the dot look similar to a "C". Trying to avoid the Irish connection this time.

Mike: They are great looking. I do say that I look at #5 and it looks very professional and I feel that style. If to change it what could we do to it, to make it maintain that professional look and also give the viewer that chuckle. My wife said change the color of #4 to have some gold in it, and I say to that that I liked #3 with the word promotions placement better.

Alright now it's time to evaluate the entries...
Huhhso: Of the four logos you just posted, the first two I don't like at all. The text is just a play with fonts. I don't like them. The last two are very nice but how would they look in black and white. Yes I do see that number three is a combo of number one and two but it works. I really like number four. Could you bring in the light bulb from before into this logo and work on that one again. The light bulb concept is nice and I feel that it needs adjusted some but think this is what you could work with. I think that using the name promotions and the light bulb go together. So let’s work with that for now.
blackspot: Jason, the design is much to close to mowlings. The clover is not the feel, that I want. I do like markbaudry’s style where the I is slanted.

Just G: This is a great concept! Is there anyway to make the outside border around the figure a Celtic braid. I know that it falls into the look of the Ireland flag, but want to give it an Irish identifier. I do like this a lot, so if you can revise it any it would be appreciated. Give the text an Irish Flair.
dynagirl: This is a well designed logo and it looks very nice. I like how the C fits right in the shape area. I’m not very fond of the clover but like it with something else there. Try something else in this spot and let’s take a look at that.
Beatz:I like the look of all of them. I don’t know what you could change on them to make me over the top with them. But, I really do like them.
markbaudry:This logo is very nice. It does give me a feel for like a production company and that is what this feel is about. I like when someone looks at this they feel they will have there company name promoted. I know the “I” is missing on purpose but how will they know a letter is missing. I know it has the dot above the spot, but perception is important and I would not want some one to go Irsh what is that?

Why a bull? In Celtic mythology the bull represents prosperity--something you'd want your customers to gain from your products. And of course, cattle is branded, much like you imprint your merchandise.
dahasher
06-04-2004, 08:43 PM
Mark: It looks better with the I and I thank you for adding that. I like the second one but my wife seemed just so-so on that. I like it though.
Huhhso: Thank you for adjusting these. I think the light bulb idea is in the top ten of the logos. The middle ones are my favorite.
Flava: This is too simple and too much like a leprechaun look. I don't like that cliché look.
dynagirl: Again, this is a great looking logo, but I hear what your saying on the Bull but it did not fit my look. Try something else in that spot.

dynagirl:That is stepping it up a notch. My wife and I both like this and it looks good in black and white. My wife said it looks like someone dancing and I said yes a Jig. But I look at it and see the Guy from the Avengers, an old British show on the tele.
Flava:This is a great improvement. It is not my style, nor am I looking for a smiley face, but that is a good logo. Save that concept, for I know someone will defiantly pick this one for there logo.
Good Job!

Juvanescence: This one was just a little too close to Huhhso's entry from early on. It's too many on items in the logo. I would like to have just one thing not so many.
The next one is just the harp but this has an odd look of a wolf if you look at it long enough.
markbeaudry: This is a really cool logo and we like it but, how will it look in B&W. We fear it will look like an inkblot. What do you think?
Sparkie: I don't understand this, can you describe the meaning? Is the I stand for Irish Crew and you said the hand print is the dot.
Just_G: Yes, this is exactly the figure I was talking about. The text and text placement is all I would like changed. Just would like it done a little different.
Hypnosis: These a some really cool entries. I like the second on the right and my wife liked the bottom left. Problem on her choice is it is so faint it is invisible at an arms length away. Can I see these two with some different plays?
Thank you all for your hard work. I'm very impressed with the professional style and great work...

Hi Randy, another artist here reminded me that Northern Ireland is not "politically" included in the map of Ireland and may have implications for your business. Well all things must come to an end. This has been a fantastic contest and I’m even more psyched to start on the Reseller Group. I want to take this luck of finding this site and get some Logos for the less fortunate.
To all who entered this contest, Thank you everyone, and great job.
I will be printing a ton of Golf balls for you all. I’m not able to start printing for a couple weeks so don’t hurry and send me your personal logo (one color), and checking your mail box. I have some big orders on hold and will be working non stop. Send your mailing address and logo to the special email for this contest.

I have to say when I saw this logo I was so excited and what a boost this was. I knew then it would win.
The Winner: Gandhi Permata (aka) Just G
“Congratulations Just G”!
If we could get this moved over to the Revisions forum, I just have some font issues.

Gandhi, could you change the font of the text so that it has an Irish Flair to it. I need to see how this is going to look on the golf ball and on Ink pens. So, the text below on some and the text on the side for others. In otherwords skinny on some wide on others.

Gandhi, also can we get the orange a bit more toward the Irish Flag orange. If you use the Pantone Color just let me know what number. I will need to know the number for all colors if you can. Do you put the logo in vector form also?

G,
We need the name to remain
Irish Crew
Promotions
You split it Irish as the main. Do you have a font available that could give it a little Irish Flair? Please, I'm not asking you to use anyone’s design. I just need the text more in tune with an Irish Theme. The item in the logo is superb.
Does this come also in vector format?
Could I get a Black and white version? I have to print in only black I did not want this to lose anything.
Great work! Can I see it on the same two items when you do the revision?
Thank You Sir!!!!

When I Search on the net for "Irish fonts", I found this (celtic font)
http://www.ireland-information.com/freecelticfonts.htm
do you want to use Celtic font? I will do it tonight is it ok?
Does this come also in vector format?
Yes, sure... except for the image for Golf ball and ink pen but you can get the 3d Source file (.3ds or .c4d format) it is 6 mb :(
Could I get a Black and white version? I have to print in only black I did not want this to lose anything.
Its no problem. Do you need black and white version on white background, dont you?

G,
Celtic font one looks great! And I just need the logo done in all the normal file formats. But, I do need the logo in vector format. I'm thinking your asking that I want the golf balls in vector. No, just the logo. I hope were on the same thoughts.

G,
It looks great! I need just a small change in the color. I pulled my Pantone Color Chart out and looked at the colors that way. The orange I need changed to Pantone “151c”. I compared the two and 114c is too brown. The green is a small change. If you could change it to a “362c” from the 360m. Does m stand for Matte? I have only two letter codes C= Coated Paper & U= Uncoated Paper.
After that, we are good to go! If the file is vecorized and in multiple format were set.
