I am looking for a simple and impressive logo for my business ToyCost.com
ToyCost.com is a web retailer selling toys. We import toys directly from manufacturers. Our main competitive advantage is price.
Please take a look at the current web site which is still under development http://4.16.224.162/StoreCSVS
The logo will be used in the web site, as well as in business card and stationary.
Since we are in the toy business, I would like the logo to be a little bit colorful.
Some logos I like are:
www.kbtoys.com
www.ecost.com
The deadline is June 6, 2004
The prize for this logo is $65
I am not a graphic expert and totally open to your guys’ creative suggestion.
Mmmm.

Here is one that uses "more corporate" colors:

Here is another one with a more "playful" tone:

Let me know what you think, thanks! :)

bogglins,
Sorry, I might have mistyped in my previous email. I mean the one in the upper RIGHT in you original design. Can we make the toy red and cost yellow? use the brighter color. Thanks.

Thank you for your quick response.
The black outline makes the logo looks too dark. Can we take the middle one on the right side in your orginal design. Change the outline of TOY to red and change the ontline of the COST to blue? Thanks

I would like to thank for so many creative designers who posted ark work here and I would like to announce the winner - bogglins.
Bogglins, let's use the upper right one.
Coxy's design is sample and very impressive. It has been at the top of the list in my mind until I got Bogglins's work.
shnickerdoodle studios's design is very creative. I love the toy cubic specially. But for the stationary, this design would be a little bit too complex.
For carlos(esparza), Flava and V + E + R + T's designs, I don't like to color and the fonts very much.
I like MOZ's design in terms of color and simplicity. But still, Bogglins' fit my situation better.
Juvanescence's design is good in terms of color and fonts. It should fit my web site and stationay well. but I still like Bogglins' better.
Thanks for mbleigh's last minute post.
Again, thank all of your guys who posted. Hope to see you around in the web site from time to time.

Thanks!
Please contact Mr. "Palmer" for confirmation...
Is there still any revision to be made? Please let me know...
If not, I'll let you have the design files after this contest has been moved to the revision/archive forum.

I totally agree with that.
Congrats Bogglins!
And, I'd like to say the top right and bottom two in this 'do it for me':

Hello,
is there any revision?
I can also prepare the gif/jpeg file of the logo in specific size if you want...
...
here for the final.. before I send you the vector design file...
I attach the chosen logo along with another at the bottom of it... for you to compare.. if you still stick with the first one (above)... then I'll send its original design file... if you prefer the second one (bottom), then that one will be send to you...
thanks!
