Hi, (Admin code added by Palmer - 3631043)

I'm hoping for some help designing a logo for a fledgling web services company.

The company is called "Made to Measure Web Services". I'm looking for a logo to be used on the company website and headed paper.

Details
- New company focussed on providing highly tailored web development services. Also website management.
- Key differentiator is the bespoke solutions and service offered.
- Want to project lean, fast-moving, intelligent image
- The logo can be either "MTM Web Services", “MTM”, "Made to Measure Web Services" or, ideally a composite of the MTM acronym and the full wording in small font.
- No restriction on colours, however need to maintain a professional, but dynamic impression
- The logo will sit on a white background (either paper or Website with white background)
- No restriction on size or shape however must be a suitable letter head or integrated into a website heading.

Please feel free to contact me if you need more info.

Good luck to all!

I look forward to seeing the results.

John

Hi Victoria,

Thanks for your ideas. I particularly like 1. Is it possible to see a version with more color?

Regards

Here are some different colours. If there are any colours you would particularly like to see don't hesitate to ask. :)

Victoria,

Thanks for your multi colour options. Howdo you fancy taking the red(ish) one and adding a few extra 'shadows' - like the one that you have - just a few more. Maybe experiment with the direction?

Here you go. :) If there is a particular direction you would like to see explored further, let me know. :P

Hi there,

Thanks to all for the ideas. Am into the 'reflected M' from 'ondarox' Any chance of changing the color scheme on that one so that it could sit directly on a white bacground rather than having a white image in the blue square.

One more thing, I know the brief gives the idea of somthing corporate - let's ignore that - how about something a bit more 2010 ish................

Went for the furturistic look you requested. Also a symbol for branding purposes (The MTM integrated into one).

Hi there. Couple of hings ---

john, I really like the lettering and the combined logo idea. Can you make the logo a bit 'chunkier' and does it have to be one color?

ubergerleek - great futuristic look. I like it a lot. How coulgd I rearrange this to make a logo for a web banner at the top of each page (wide but not too tall)?

Thanks again for all the ideas

Im not quite sure what you mean by this... If you would like the height reduced I can easily move the arrow down a notch.. can you expand a little please?

Do you have a deadline in mind for this contest?

ubergerleek, I'm wondering if you can re-arrange the logo o fit in a space about 5 cm x 2 - 3 cm tall? Sorry, not very good at explaining myself.

Have no specific deadline for this logo - what's a 'reasonable' time? (This is my first time on this forum, so I don't really know what the score is - am really pleased with the results that I'm getting so far and will definately be back).

 ondarox,

Really like the new ideas. How about combining the 'reflected ms' (new bendy ones) with the lettering on the bottom right design - could you also add some colored fill to the logo?

2 weeks seems to be a good time frame, usually. If you had a deadline, it would help the designers budget their time more effectively (it does for me anyway!).

John,

The third one down in your new set of designs has a brilliant logo - exactly what I am looking for. Can we alter the font to be lik that in your first set of designs - the one with 'made to' in bold?

Looking forward to seeing the result

Hi John,

really like the banner example. One last thing to try. Can we keep the design as it is but scale down the text to be somewhere between 75 and 80% of the height of the logo (maintaing proportions).

Thanks

John

Hi ondarox,

A stroke of genius - I love it. Can we try the logo in blue? The text is great - no need to change that.

Your 04.27 design is the winner.
