Hoss's BBQ & Catering Co. Ltd - $150 *Project Over*

My company is Hoss's BBQ & Catering Co. I am looking for a logo for my company's Businesscards and sationary along with the ability for use on a website, and t shirts.

My company has two mobile smokers built out of stainless steel dairy tanks. Wew do onsite and drop off catering of smoked goods. We smoke whole hogs, chickens, turkeys, pork butts, briskets, and ribs. We also compete in Sanctioned BBQ competitions along the east coast. The company is located in white sulphur springs Wv.

I would like the logo to have a professional look with a casual friday feel to it. A logo i like is Eskimo Joe's which is a bar/ resaturant form stillwater Ok. I would not mine seeing an animals face in charcter form. Aany colors would be fine by me.

The conetest will end on August 6th.
any questions i can answer to help carify are fine and encouraged by me. the prize is $150

Could you, please, tell us a little more about your company? Like what exactly do you do, what's the advantage of doing business with you and not other companies?

And also about your future logo: what would you like to express with it? Stability? Dynamism? Seriousness? Fun? Conservativity? "Cutting edge technology"? :) Have you probably seen some logo which you like and would like yours to look similar or have similar style?

I like the design love the H and The O was wondering if the the SS's. could be less i catching. Maybe if the s after the ' is a smaller s then the first two SS's. Wondering if the flames could go inside were the black background is behind the Hoss's part. I think this will be less destracting maybe. also the "and" has to be the Symbol & in Hoss's BBQ & Catering Co.

May be brighten the colors a little more

Diane, I would like to see the H have more of a bubbly feel to it like the sss. Also would like to see the the pig with a more defined body. Then i would like to see the face and the body on the blue backgraound, with out the smoking good food phrase in either please. Also would like to see some options without the flames just to see.

I feel as if this logo is marketed towards a skateboarding aged person. If some one was to hire me for a wedding would they feel comfortable coming to my company if this was my logo? does this make sense?

I would like to see a different font for hoss's on design 1
for design 2 place BBQ down with & Catering Co. And [lease switch Q in BBQ for the G. Also some more color please in this one. And a less stiff looking cow. Can we change the background to be round instead of a rectangle
design 3 reminds me of pizza or an italian restaurant and will not do for my look. so no need to revise that one thank you

Sorry I was at work this morning could not reply earlier. Well Amanda I like this new deisgn can we had a little more to it. some more flare to the design.

Paula I was wondering if we could fine a better background then the wood texture it fels to country to me. Also the chef's face had a Picocio feel to it can we adjust this.

After confering with many different people I have chosen Dianes' design. The one that is posted on the Tshirt.

I have to say though this was very hard to decide. All of you did an amazing job!! The qualitity and creativeness that all of you showed in your design was amazing to me. I would never have thought of half of what you guys submitted. To think that I was about to go to one designer before my friend told me of this site!!I have already told some friends about getting their logos done here. All of you are welcome to had the designs I did not choose to your portfolios. Thank you so much for all of your patience and suggestions over the past two weeks.

Diane, I just nitced that you used the word and instead of the ampersand sign "&". Also when we do finalize I will need the following things; a transparent gif, a t shirt quality logo, along with a business card and stationary quality logo. Also in case Imake brochures I would need the numbers for all the colors used. Is all of this ok?

sorry about the "&". And those formats are fine. The logo is done as a vector eps file, which can be scaled to any size without losing any detail or resolution. The eps file is the most versatile print standard format and would be used for all printed material (the t-shirts, brochures, business cards and stationery.)

As for the colors used, this logo is designed using 4-color process. This means there are no specific Pantone colors called out for each color, but instead all the colors are made out of a mix of cyan, magenta, yellow and black. I would imagine if you're going to produce brochures, they would be done in full color (4-color).

I can also provide you with a single color (b/w) version for times when you may not be printing in full color.

One last Thing is there any way to get a transparent gif of just the "h". I was thinking this would be cool for the back of the t shirts. maybe with the flames and circle behind it or just standing by itself. I am sure that everything can be completed tomorrow i just need to check with one other person.

If so could you send them with the new designs. if not ok. I have really enjoyed working with you!! One other question is there a way to contact you.
