I am looking for a logo design for a brand new version of our website. the URL of the website can be found here:

BadmintonCentral.com is a one-stop website for the sports of badminton. we have articles, discussion forum, product reviews, etc.

we want to have a catchy looking website logo that contains the shuttlecock. a picture of the shuttlecock is attached.

as for color, i don't have much constraints except that at some point the logo will go into a t-shirt so either it has fewer colors or it can be converted to a version that have fewer colors. it also cannot clash with the color theme of the website, but some contrasting color to attract attention is ok!

badminton is a fast sport, the shuttlecock can go up to 200mph, if you can somehow incorporate sense of speed, that will be great.

Hi kwun, here's how I see it...

first design : i think this one is good. but i'd prefer more balanced attention going towards the graphics and the text, or maybe even a slight balanced toward the graphics. to me this design has more weight towards the text.

second design:

i think this is quite creative. a flaming shuttlecock.

also i like the relative weight of the logo graphics vs. logo text . not sure about the blue framing though.

imo, this has better text/graphics balance.

perhaps more iterations/refinements on the flaming graphics?

simlar to the first design of Eagle, i prefer more balanced between graphics than text. though i think the sweeping tail of the shuttlecock is nice.

neither one is really what i am looking for. both are a bit too simpliestic. the addition of the graphics didn't really catch my eyes.

i like all your entries. they all have good ideas.

i see a few ways they can be better. i think "Central.com" is a bit de-emphasized in all 3 designs. perhaps slight more emphasis with changing of weight or font size.

my ranking for preference is bottom, middle, top. replacing the dot with the shuttlecock is a good idea, i think. use of black color of the font may not stand out enough as a logo though. what do you think?

RadicalSEED: i think it is a ok design but nothing about it that makes me go "wow".

i like some boldness!

the eye catching color with blue/red contrast is nice. i would actually prefer the blue circle to be a globe instead of a mesh (i think you are trying to give the impression of a racket w/string?)

not sure about the shuttlecock though, do you think you can give it a try with my suggestion?

The map/globe idea didn't translate as well to the concentric circles as I had hoped, so I took the map concept in another direction. Let me know what you think, thanks!
