[Project Complete] Urgent Banner Competition

Hi guys, (Admin code added by Palmer - D814490J)

I need two graphics,

Banner = 468x60 pixels not bigger than 20kb

Button = 125x40pixels not bigger than 15kb


Ideally I want these animated! They are to promote this site formula framed (http://www.formulaframed.com)

I want to really push the create a pic section, crew shirts, autographs and print section. Probably too much to get into one banner so just do the best you can. With create a pic and Crew shirts being the best things i want to push.

As its two graphics there may be two winners, whereby the prize will be split.

If you want any graphics from my site let me know.

Palmer, Do you think $25 each is fair as one banne is bigger than the other?? I wasnt sure when i posted to go 50/50 or $25 $30.

I suppose as much work will go into either side, so yeah $25 each will do.

It is actually harder to make smaller banners than regular banners as you have to think a little bit more about how you will fit it in without making it look cramped and readable of course. :)

The price is quite reasonable too.

Ok I like it the way the car flys on, neat!!

The one thing missing was the Original crew shirts, or similar, I am only 1 of 2 companys that have access to all team shirts. I also want to push the create a pic section as this is where i make most money :) but I realise this is hard, so if this cant be incorporated then I dont mind so much.

Also I think that more pics should be included, but again i realise this could push the file size up.

Look forward to seeing the one with pictures! Im not sure how eye catching just text is, or if people will read it.

To give some idea of what other banners people are using, here is the site it will hopefully be featured on

If will also be used for my affiliate scheme when i finally get it up and running.

Like that one, on the right lines, eye catching and features the crew shirts which is good :)

To anyone dont feel you have to use my logo, although it helps, if people are interested in the banner I think they will click anyway.

my monitor has died and i am up the creek without a paddle :(

I am using a public PC and only have limited time so havent been able to have a good look at the entries I havent commmented on so far.

Quickly though, can you use the word shirts not jerseys ;)

I look forward to seeing some more entries from my new monitor. El kootchos definitely on the right lines, but I would like to see other parts being pushed as well as the shirts, so i can choose which area to push if that makes sense.

gotta go, some kid wants to use my pc :huh:

YEAHHHHH new monitor, couldnt afford a flat screen TFT so I got a 17" flat screen crt monitor and it looks much nicer.:tup:

I havent heard from the site i am going to be using these banners on, they should have started today. So its probably a good thing, as I was a little dissapointed at only 2 people entering. Is it mainly a logo site? I noticed eddy's compo for a banner wasnt doing to well either. (incidently I am building that site for select greetings, so any praise should come my way :D )

Demex, I hoped there would be more people interested in entering. Victoria and Elkootcho have done some great work, but it is nice to have a few more entries to look out.

Sorry for the silence ive been trying to catch up with work, had a reunion over bank holiday and just havent had time to spend having a good look.

Demex I didnt even realise you had entered till today!!

I have heard from the site and they are more or less ready to take my banners so i suppose I should pick some winners.

For the small banner Elkootchoo won with the second entry that can be seen Here ( http://www.designoutpost.com/forums/upload....gif]Here[/url]

As for the big banner I didnt know which to choose between Elkootchos create a pic banner and Demex latest entry. They were both great.

In the end I had to get some other feedback and elkootcho won by one vote, it was a close thing.

So thats both to elkootcho, I may be interested in buying all the banners in the future, but I will contact the individual designers when I have the money :tup:
