Hey all you designers out there! I am looking for a logo for a new company.
First of all, I do apologize for the time frame for this project. I only have about 24hrs. so I need to know who can help me, and when you will be posting something for me to look at. I have been watching your posts for a while now, and I must say that I am impressed! You are so talented! So, PLEASE HELP ME! :help:

The name of the company is Maselle Learning Systems. This new company that will enable people to take courses virtually, anywhere from their homes, or where it is convenient for the customers to get training in areas such as real estate, builders, and even cosmetology schools.

Somewhere in the logo should read the words: RealEducate and

L. - live
I. - interacive
V. - virtual
E. - education

The direction I have been given is to go with a virtual, techno feel. Some ideas are to incorporate a headset with an attached microphone, and maybe the headset on a silouhette of a person's head. Inside the "head" to have different pieces of technology, like a computer, a column representing a school, a mouse, a clock etc. This was the direction I was given.
I like the colors blue and brown, and even a gold color if possible!
Please let me know if you need more direction. I am paying $125 for this logo.

Hi Jen,

Welcome to the D.O. I think the lack of designs is due to the tight deadline and the complex design requested. Most of the time, simpler is better, so would you (or the client) be willing to look at something a little more simple than the headset computer column icon? ;)

Just trying to help out... :D

yes, thanks for the advice. Since this is the first time I have done this, I do want to make it easy for ya'll. I am open to other things, and actually the more simple, the better. But the my client has asked to go in that direction. Is there anything we can pull from what my initial inquiry was? I will be on here constantly checking this tonight. I would appreciate all the input I can get. I am actually desperate to get this done!

Let's see if this one's any closer: column, mouse, blue, brown.

Any thoughts?

You could make ME happy with just that design. I love it, but one thing my client said in particular was that he wanted people to know what it was by just looking at the graphic...such as a headset with microphone, meaning virtual, and some sort of generic head of a human incorporating school, technology etc. I love the colors though.
Also, make Maselle stand out a little bit better.

Try to use the logo and not say RealEducate...just say L.I.V.E. instead.

I hope this helps.

Hey DesignGeneral,

well, certainly closer and headed in the right direction, but still not indication of virtual technology. I like the person's head, (and we need to keep it generic and not indicate male or female) now we need to incorporate somehow headphones etc.

I do not like the one with the sun image around it.

The second one is more the feel, but not quite. It needs to state say something just with the graphic. I know that they will not want L.I.V.E. above the name.

The colors are perfect.

Jenny,

Here is a concept which I had used in a previous contest that was not chosen. I felt it fit perfectly with the direction your client was seeking.

thanks carl!
Can you change the peachy color to either gold or brown?
Also, what is that over the eyes? Just so I can explain to my client tomorrow.

Very nice design, I love it!
Also, can you do one with the first letters in caps on the wording. These company is not very edgy, although this is a good direction for them since they are seeking younger people to take the real estate course...

Also, one without the colon between realeducate and live.

Thanks!

Jen,

Here are the requested revisions.

The "thing" over the eyes is virtual knowledge, or the idea of something (knowledge) entering the mind through the eyes.

Hi Jen,

I had some family in town so had to leave work a bit early, but I've added a human/earpiece element.

Let me know what you think...

Aaron,
Thanks for getting back to me. I like the idea of you adding someone with a headset, but it looks a little like the mouse on the other side, and it sort of looks scary, can we revise it a little bit? I am seeing the client in about 3 hrs.

Alexander,
I appreciate your entry. I love the font layout, and that particular font, but the graphics need just a little work. On the first one, it does look like a boy; it HAS to neither look male or female. On the second one, I am really liking that one, but the face looks cartoony. Can we make it look more serious or professional? Is there any way to add another piece of technology, such as a column to represent a school?

DesignGeneral,
I love your design and the revision with just one line in the middle. I will show it today to my client and get their choice. If you would like to post something that incorporates more technology, if that is possible, that would be great!

Thank you ALL for working so hard on this under such a tight deadline, I truly appreciate you! (southern hospitality!) :)

Here you go Jenny. Does this ease the balance between mouse and head?

BTW, the I think the second concept is stronger.

Aaron,
I do like the second one a lot better! I sort of had something like that in mind myself. There is something about the eyes still that is bugging me. Now they look sad. I hate to be a pain, but I really like your design, but those eyes need to be changed. I just want to be able to show them something that I can really sell with confidence. Can you send one more with different eyes?, or no eyes?

Okay, Hey guys!

Well, my client like a couple of the logos and are very close to making a decision. (I thought we were going to be finished by yesterday, but apparently not). The deadline is definitely Monday morning.

Anyway, here is the latest...are you ready?
They want to see a logo with a lightbulb with the word L.I.V.E. squiggled down the center of it. Around the lightbulb, to have a headset with a microphone attached. On one half of the headset (the left half), they would like the word RealEducate to be the headset itself. Get it?

For the screw in part, they would like to see if you can do a keyboard?!? (Try it and see how it looks.

then for the words Maselle Learning System. They want to see how it would look to have the M real big with the word Maselle going vertically beside it, the L real big, with the word Learning small beside it, and the S real big with the word system vertically beside it. (It is does not look good, then just write it normally).

These are pretty detailed directions, so if you can come up with anything, you know I would certainly appreciate it. I am sorry for making this process more drawn out than you or I would like! :(

Your help is certainly appreciated!!!!!!
