New business based in country Australia specialising in auto dismantling/wrecking yard/junk yard mainly concerned with 4x4/RV/utility vehicles. Our customer base is mechanics, panel beaters and primary producers (farmers). Our design should embrace the stylised shape of Australia with elements of 4x4's. Name of business is Countrywide 4WD. Colours to depict outback Australia - red dust, browns, orange, dry greens and silver. We are really looking for something with a two colour base. We require flie type jpeg. Deadline is wednesday 25th August. We are looking forward to working with you.

:) Really like the design , the colours are just what we were thinking and love the rings that wrap around the map. they look like australian boomerangs but that might have been the idea hey. the font is great and like and it looks great in b&w.
just a few things we,d like to try
on the bottom rhs of the map there should be another state called tasmania and we always leave them off the map . It doesnt worry me but they get irritated. Like the way the words really stand out and catch the eye in the rhs design but really like the look of the colour blending on the main design but thought the word countrywide lost some of its punch and standout. could we put a third ring around the map and do the colour blend in the rings only. Wondering what that black line on the map is under the letter d in 4wd. Would it be possible to move all the words up just a fraction and make the W in 4wd the same size but keeping it within the map .

like it but it,s not grabby for me
the map of aus could more of a deep green and possibly bigger. if the wheel could look more like a big chunky 4wd wheel or maybe joke it up and put the wheels on the map as if it,s a 4wd or R.V

really like the colour graduation on the rings but i think i like 2 rings rather than three. could we possibly move all the writing back down a bit so it is just above were you started ( more in the middle ) .

hi.. here is my entry.. a logo with the font that has the 4x4 feel... hard & tough... while still looks really nice on the side of the truck/car.... also great for t-shirt, people won't be shy to wear the promotional tshirt of your company.

We have decided to close the competition early as there is one design we have loved from the outset. First of all thankyou to all those that submitted an entry, we were amazed at the talent out there:D
The designer that we have chosen to work with is Mowling. The colours grabbed us straight away, the font is great and the boomerangs ringing Australia complete what we were looking for. Looking forward to making some final revisions with you.

Only a couple of little things
could we please reduce the black outline around the written info to where you originaly had it,and would it possible to get the logo in two different ways but exactly the same as your design .
ie, 4WD and AWD .
the reason for this is simply that we have not decided to call our new business (four wheel drive) or (all wheel drive) and it would be great to give us the opputunity to change at a later date if needed .
The logo will be used an all our stuff. invoices . letterheads , t/shirts , business cards , magnets , vehicles , etc,etc
So we,ll leave to your expertise as to what format / file etc etc that the final logo is sent to us ..
