Children's Nursery Logo *Project Complete*

Hello Designers!

Community of Hope is back for another great logo! We're looking for a Logo for our Church's Nursery Ministry called "Babies of Hope" - we have a logo, but it doesn't really fit with younger kids and isn't distinctive enough from other church kid logos.

We want a sun included in some form, the logo to be a bit warmer (nurturing), and infants into the logo as well since the current logo only shows older kids.

Specifics:
-use any kind of "sun" in the logo (not necessarily the one shown)
-use the yellow and green church logo colors somewhere in the logo (you may use other colors too)
-make it young kid friendly, but maybe a little more professional looking

Hey everyone,

Do you think you could add some of these elements:

-a baby
-an older child (toddler) - the nursery takes kids 0-3 years
-could you add the tagline "Nursery Ministry" somewhere?
-maybe some kind of element like toys or something? - possibly, building blocks with letters?

It still needs to be warmer and a little more color. Maybe a new font as
well. The design is a great start.

Hey everyone,

Well, let's try something a little different...

Let's include these elements:

1. a stork flying and carrying a baby to the nursery

2. young toddler kids in the style of "Rugrats" (animated look, colorful) looking over the sun, hanging onto the sun (outline the sun if needed), peering around the sun.

3. add the "Babies of Hope" text somewhere

4. add the tagline (small) "Nursery Ministry" underneath somewhere

Sorry I've been in and out for a while, and I managed to miss your posts about the Rugrats and such. I was working on a couple of different concepts, and thought I'd post them anyway.

Thanks for getting back to us. I know this one is a little harder for us to describe but I think we are starting to get on the right track.

Here's our nursery director's comments in regards to your ideas:

The first one is off to a good start. It just needs to be a bit warmer and somehow incorporate infancy into it. I would actually like to see something along the lines of your Rugrats idea. That is an interesting idea. It could be kind of cute. Hope this helps!

Here's my comments:

Maybe we could go with a pastel color scheme as idea 1 (I think that would get at the "warmer, nurturing" feel the nursery director is going; but, we can also try some primary color schemes for variation. I like the direction you are going.

It would be cool to incorporate a stork with baby too. Here are some ideas. Maybe they can help a little - can't find anything yet on the internet to represent the direction we're going yet. Sorry. Here you go:

Hey guys,

The nusery coordinator likes the idea of the stork, kid, sun, etc...

Could we see a few variations. She likes Aaron's sun from a couple of posts ago - could we see a couple variations of different suns? Also, could we see a couple of different color schemes (in pastels)? And, with the variations...could we see the logo with and without the clouds?

Sorry, you haven't heard from me for awhile. We are currently preparing for our 4th Hurricane here in Florida and our 2nd for Palm Beach County within 3 weeks.

Anyway, we are still talking about the logos. Late next week, I'll make it a priority to give you some direction, providing we still have power. Some people just got it restored this past Friday!
