ORGANIZATION IDENTITY :
360Flair.com
Do you have it?
WHAT IS IT?
An elite online community and services for models – not everyone has the 360Flair and not everyone will be in the 360Flair.com web community. While anyone can apply, membership is by invitation only!
BRANDING/MARKET
• 360Flair is to "have it" everywhere, i.e. from every angle you look GOOD!
• You either have 360Flair or not
• “Everywhere you look she's got it”
• “She has 360Flair… she’s got it from all and every angle”
“She has the 360Flair....from every angle, she looks great,
on the catwalk, in print, her photos. It's all fantastic!"
Initially, we were going to go with something bland, generic, and unoriginal. As we brain stormed, we realized models and the industry in general are not exactly known for being boring, subtle, trite or banal. Models are known for being vibrant, having style and panache, and need to be represented accordingly.
This logo has to represent the above. This logo has to look awesome in print, on the web, on a postcard / business card / bumper sticker, on a Tshirt, etc etc etc. This has to represent the clientele.
The mental image: We want the logo to capture the idea/spirit/mystique behind the image of a beautiful, perfect 10, unbelievably gorgeous model with attitude bursting from behind lights, smoke, and curtains to sashay down the catwalk, strike a pose as if she owns every person in the room, do her 360 spin, pop her hip, and return from whence she came as if the audience is no longer worthy of gazing upon her.
(Added 8/17/2004 at 12:23 PM EST): This logo must be unisex... it must work and represent both men and women.

Nice work... thanks for your time. I think, however, that we are going for a more "sleek" logo. (does that make any sense?)

Ok...here is a more minimalistic....streamline approach.
thedotcom

hmm... that just doesnt seem to have any "kicker" elements... that will make it stand out. This needs to look really killer on a female tanktop type shirt.

Check out the parent company (MyDateLive) logo. I am not saying copy that by any means, but it does look great. It also has creativity.
http://www.mydatelive.com/images/logo.gif
Here are examples of "sleek". These logos arent that great, but they are "in the genre" and also represent "sleek":
Elle: http://www.thedotcomcompany.net/logoE.gif
Panache: http://www.thedotcomcompany.net/logoP.gif
This logo needs to be playful.. and represent "flair"
ALSO... it must be for both men AND women. I did not mention that before, and that was my fault, I apologize.
I am really looking forward to seeing everyone's work!

You submitted right before my previous submission :)
I forgot, however, to mention that this logo must be for both men and women... :-/. I am definitely interested in seeing more of your ideas.

Thanks for your submission. I dont think that logo captures the sleekness we need it. We want people to associate tihs logo with panache and flair.

ok... here is some feedback... It is late and I am very tired... so I apologize if any of the following does not make any sense.
Buginajar -
- v1 - this looks too rogue and not very vogue. its just too messy and vague looking
- v2 - this looks cool and has potential..a lets play with colors/fonts and most importantly make the bodel the "l" of Flair...
Fabian - the problem with the designs is that they are a bit too "obvoius" and most importantly... the 360 flair does not look graphically and thusly mentally connected. The 360flair is the most important element.
Jason - i cant really articulate why it doesnt work.
Paula23 -
1 - this looks too much like a salon ad or the cover of an upscale salon magazine, it also looks a bit like clip art.
2 - these are too busy and also look like clip art. they are nice, but just dont quite serve our target audience.
bogglins -
1. we kinda liked the 360 | Flair... the problem, however, is that it disconnects the two elements... the elements need to "go together"
2. the second logo looks nice, but it seems to evoke a mental image of a pill ( 5 out of 5 peopel thought that ! :-/ ).
3. way too confusing and busy.
also the font in 1 and 2 just dontseem to work for some reason
DesignGeneral - we liked this... but nothing within it seems to work... haha, i KNOW that doesnt make sense.
this disconnects 360 and flair. it is too in your face and looks too much like an eye. what we liked was that the curves subconsciously hint at the form of the body... is htere any way you can play with that concept without it being too overt?
Taldo - we really like this logo... could you play around with the circle and the colors [of the circle and of the fonts]
aaron - just doesnt seem to work.
jason - just doesnt seem to work either.

Thanks to everyone for your wonderful work. I look forward to seeing revisions and new entries. I really appreciate you DO designers!!! Yall are awesome!!!!

shnickerdoodle - this is too busy, it also does not associate 360 and flair... th ey look very disconnected and the overall design style is not clean.
Just_G - #1 - doesnt serve the target audience
#2 - i like this a lot, could you play with font and colors?
Jonathan

Paula23 - There is just a little too much going on here, this design looks nice, but wouldnt really serve our target audience.
Just G - Can we try a few different color schemas away from the brown/yellow/red part of the spectrum? Also, try aligning all of the numbers at the baseline of the rounded rect. One very last request... could we see the numbers on circles too? We really like this logo, and it is among our top 3 right now.
DesignGeneral - the 360flair isnt really working here... it doesnt have the sleek look we are going for. I would be interested in seeing a couple variations... what about using the curves (maybe this quick ascii representation will make sense!:
|||||||||| ____
___360flair
Taldo - Yours is also in the top 3, could you please show maybe some slight variations on the theme, including font and color scheme?
Fabian - While the varying sizes of 360 does not work... i think you could really work with this to make it awesome... think "sleek"
Only a couple more days left!
Thanks for everyones great work and awesome ideas!!

Mark - sorry about that buddy. You were on the 1st page and I must have overlooked you. This logo is neat.. but doesnt seem to have the chic sleakness ive mentioned a few times.
I am not sure if this is what you intended but the characters in the 0 of 360 look like a nose and mouth, which i dont think works for the audience.
Thanks for your work!
we will have a decision within a couple days of the contest closing... please be on the lookout as well... we have another 3-6 logo contests for DO within the next few weeks.

Ok ;)
Thanks for the feedback Jonathan :) I figured you must've missed it, I just wanted to get your attention. :P
As for the 0, it was intended as a nose and mouth, but I guess you're right and it doesn't fit in.
Here's adaptation. I hope it's closer to what you're looking for.
Cheers
Mark :D

Congratulations to:
Just_G
We have chosen your first submission as the winning entry. We like the red orange and yellowish collors
We would like to see the following quick modifications and ideas.
Bold the numerals a bit more.
We would like to see two different looks for the numeral boxes
1. The awesome left align you first submitted
2. The numerals centered and bottom/baseline aligned within the rounded rects.
We also like the font and case for "flair" in the first submission.
Lastly... we need to figure out how to get a .com somewhere.
One idea: is to put "www.360flair.com" small under the "flair" in the logo.
We are definitely open to other ideas you might have about how to get this .com in there.
I hope this isnt too much! We are so excited about this logo!!
After we get these last things settled on, you can go ahead and start preparing the deliverables in the needed formats.
Please find time to participate in the new logo contest for dawgdate.com as well!

Greats... Thanks for choosing me as a winner.
Here is the revision...
What do you think?
I don't what colour do you like.
Is it ok if the colour will change depend on event or something else...?
example: color choose for the winters, autum, sports, etc.
Or... you will go with one colour series for everything?

We like the red, orange and yellow, in your first submission on this thread the best. Your colors based on seasons is a great idea... lol do you want to provide four color schemes :P?
Judging from the last post... i like the bolder numerals, BUT we like the left offset aligned the best.
I dont really like the www.... under the "flair". also, the site is www.360flair.com .. do you have any other ideas?
I cant wait to have this finalized! This design is so awesome.

I apologize... i was not clear.
I think we like the vertically centered, horizontal left align the best (as in your first submission).
Your design looks so sleek without the web address... i wish we didnt have to incorporate it. I think the "360flair.com" under the "flair" looks best.
in regards to the colors, i like the first one (red orange yellow) for summer, and the blues for winter. if you dont mind playing with those colors for spring and autumn, that would be freakin fantastic, but you of course are not obligated in any way.
spring: bright colors, think easter egg maybe haha....
and for autumn: think trees changing colors, the deep browns, dark greens and reds and oranges.
After the above, i believe we are done.
THanks so much.

A simple Question:
If you didn't like it, why you have to incorporate the url on the logo?
Many of the good brands didn't mix the url address with their logo.
ex: Nike, IBM, Microsoft, Elle, Luis Vitton, D&G, Levis etc.
They put the URL on the collateral design like Leter head, BC,
Here is a sample your BC. ;)
Thanks

This work is so incredibly fantastic.
The only thing we really have left is to figure out the www.360flair.com thing.
Please try it where it currently is "under flair", but smaller and with no anti aliasing.
could you also brainstorm on other places and then a couple verticle places as well?
The colors are great.

is that for web or print?
The bellow image its only preview not for printing..
could you also brainstorm on other places and then a couple verticle places as well
I think layouts are depend on what you needs..
I just make a sample on Name card (BC) and Road Sign..
