Protect Our Kids Charity logo - $200.00 [project over]

I am the chairman of a new charity to raise money to assist the sex crimes unit of the local police force better protect the children in the city from kidnappings, sexual and psychological abuse. The charity will be directed towards individuals and corporate doners concerned about increasing the level of safety in our community.

I have in my mind a logo that looks like it might have been done by a child with colorful crayons or a paint brush. I even considered asking a bunch of early grade school students to draw a picture showing what "feeling safe" meant to them. Maybe it would be something simple like a stick man picture of a mother and father holding the hands of their child standing in the middle. Of course, I am open to other novel approaches and welcome any creative ideas. The logo should be designed to pull upon the heart strings and of course, wallets of those that see it.

The logo would go on our invitations and letterhead.

The timing is tight as we need to agree on something over the next couple of weeks. Any interest in the above would be wonderful.

We like the first design very much.

One suggestion; given that we are doing this together with the local police force, would be to create a police badge around the first design, which is our favourite. The badge could be shaped kind of like a shield, or diamond shape although if another shape works better, that would also be great.

I am away for 10 days after today so if you could turn this around quickly, that would be super. Much appreciated.

The printer requires the logo in "Illustrator eps format saved in outline". Also, can you remove the coloured bars from the frame.
