EnviroGreen Lawns, Inc. - Prize $100

I am looking for a logo for my lawn care business. We offer full maintenance, including mowing trimming,fertilizing, (lawn and trees),herbicide and pesticide. Some landscaping and sprinklers as well.
We use environmentally friendly products and practices. we offer polymer injections through our other co. Advanced Turf Technologies. (need a new logo for that one also)

EnviroGreen Lawns, Inc. is the name of the company.

Logo will be used on business cards, letterheads, website, signage on trucks and trailers, shirts, caps etc.

The logo should be easy to read at a distance on signage (not too busy)
Obvious green color with good contrast or complimentary color. Probably 2 color to limit costs.
But more if it works.
I would like it to suggest a professional attitude with a logo that will eventually have good recognition without the name.
I was working on a logo myself and found out about this site and saw the work you are doing for others and it looks great. But I'm now up against deadline for ad fliers and need it in a shortened time frame. I originally posted $ 50 upfront but since I need it in just a few days I'll get the get the administrator to get it to $ 100

PS Logo must include Lawns because of a conflict with our fertilizer supplier which is EnviroGreen,Inc. Hope that clears some confusion on my part

When is your deadline? There's been lots of landscaping type businesses running contests on this site. Any logos catch your eye?

If all goes well I hope you'll run a contest for Advanced Turf Technologies, as well.

Looks like a good start. It's easy to read. Would like to see a sample with a second color in the logo and maybe some other examples other than a leaf. Lawn is plural Lawns.

I need something by Monday morning; May 5. Like I said short time.

I am going to go ahead and post a contest for Adsvanced Turf right now to allow for more time with it.

I like the Cap "E" and "G"
I think we need to include Lawns in some way, maybe.
And would like to see something a little more representative of the green industry in the design.

Would like to see a second color, and larger lettering with "lawns" added. The logo might cover the entire side of a truck by the time its large enough to read easily.
I like the ideaof the lawn striping.

Chelle; I like the font style. Need to put something different with it, don't care for the rolling hills though.

Elkootcho; got some good feedback on 02, would like to see one with the blue background and the white EnviroGreen reversed. Move the leaf to the left so the G shows, I know it'll be offcenter a little, but won't matter. Maybe an example with a little different font too ? Have you thought about using the idea with Advanced Turf and a water drop instead of a leaf?

This isn't easy, there is a lot of talent on this site !!

Only thing I can figure is, you all cut in front of me in-line when God was handing out creative gifts.

I've made the changes as requested and with a few font changes. I also plan on showinf a similar design for Advanced Turf :P

It still needs something different I think. The lettering needs to be larger in scale than the rest of the lawn design. I'd like a heavier font too. Try making it eliptical, so it shortens the design and put EnviroGreen on the same line, with Lawns below Green in the lawn. The darker shades of green on your first one look better.

ElKootcho; I asked my wife which of the designs she liked. I have 4 that I'm leaning towards, of different designers. She likes your second set, version B, but...... would like to see the leaf and border gone, the lawns inc. moved to the far right , and a group of 3 evergreen trees (different heights)that are slightly taller than the entire design, on the far left of the design. Is that possible, please ?
After all, she does like it !!!

Something like this? I used 2 trees (3 seemed too cluttered) and it's still 2 colors.
