[Project Complete] Specialtech.co.uk - new logo needed - $100

Hi All,

Our website Specialtech.co.uk (http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/home.php?&MMCF_Design) is being re desgined shortly and we need a new logo.

The company that are doing the website have left us to come up with a logo that they will base the design around, and strangely enough this is where this forum comes in :D

I am a little torn where to take the design of the site, I keep thinking perhaps Alienware is to take the site more "upmarket" for the lack of a better word to give everything a really strong feel and present a big image or something a little more custom.

What the Specialtech does
We mainly sell cases or items that are fairly high end such as top end graphics cards and the such, we try to pitch ourselves at the high end range of cases

Color wise
At present the page looks a little pale so anything that can brighten up the future design but not look outdated quickly.

Time Scale
Approx 2 weeks.

If anyone has any questions let me know :D Money has been paid to the site for the project so just waiting for the code (i got an error when paying it in but it has been paid)

like the logo so far. The chips dont quite look right, can I see a logo with these ditched. Do like the circle and the ST and the way thats been done.

The use of the ST in the circle i like, although the circuit boards are a bit strange. firetank software (http://www.firetanksoftware.com) have a nice 3d logo, is it easy enough to 3d the one you have done?

Really like this one. The sites that we will be using for the site so I am told are blues/greys/whites/blacks. Can you do something with those colors in mind, sort of metallicy ish if possible? Also can you put the .co.uk on there as well, forgot to mention that in the spec, sorry all.

Like the ST in the circle, not sure if it looks a bit of a car site ish logo if that makes sense? Only downside is that the Specialtech.co.uk is a bit tall.

Thats the sort of areas that we are looking to give people an idea of where we are heading.

Thanks for all the entries. Some really good ideas and concepts and apologies for not getting back to you all sooner with feedback. The start of the cold season has arrived for me :D

The winner is..... fabians design. I like the S promoting the specialtech style but as always all the designs were top.
