Comsource Logo - Prize $75

Hi all, (Admin code added by Palmer - D5059120)

I am hoping that you talented individuals will be able to help me with the design of my new companys logo, which I would like to use for both my website and stationary.


Profile :

Initially a services organisation, providing resource for the installation and project management of communication systems throughout the UK. However it is important that the logo doesnt limit my scope to only resource, as I hope to be able to offer an end user sales element within a short time.


Company Details:

- Formed by an experienced individual within the telecoms industry
- Nationwide partnerships delivering services and solutions
- Suppliers of communication equiptment
- Success through partnership


Location :
Located in the South East of UK, however will operate nationwide.

Image :
Highly technical solutions, corporate image, encompassing delivery through partnerships.

Logo :
Flexible on colours, although I do wish to use design for printing as well as webpage. Design should reflect solutions provider.

Other:

Should encorporate the words:

- Comsource
- Partner

I would like to have space available to add company slogan although I dont have it yet.

I look forward to seeing your designs, I am relatively felxible on time, although do need to finalise and get printing fairly shortly.

The succesful design will almost certainly lead to another logo immeadiately, followed by two web templates.

I dont like the first design, just looks to simple.

The second idea I like, although Im not keen on the triangle design............and more importantly neither is the wife!

We both felt that it didnt really reflect the following:

a) Wasn't corporate enough
B) Didnt look technical enough
c) Wasnt industry related enough

And now for some feedback:

Ondarox:
Interesting designs, as you have since realised could you please incorporate the right name :rolleyes:
I like to see more integration between the shapes and the words, like your last couple of designs.

Chelle:
I do like the 1st design, however having spoken with my wife we just feel that it is missing a little something? This could be the colours used and also integrate the shapes more with the design.

Palmer:
We both like the concept althougth feel that the design looks a little flat? Any ideas?

I have been reviewing other designs that have been successful and unsuccessful and would like to build upon an idea I have, which is too integrate the logo by building a few designs based on the "c" of commsource.

Just a slight 3D effect. I could add a more 3D feel but you may not be able to reproduce the same look on all formats.

Its just if you wanted blends replicated it would cost more to reproduce.

OND,

I do like the design, but somehow it seems a little large and over the top. Could you please rework this so that the "C" is still emphasised, perhaps extending along the bottom of the main text (between the name and slogan)?

I would also love to see a reworked version of moving forward.connected and also the earlier design (with the wrong name) using the red dots?

Elktoocho,

I prefer the second design over the first.

However we do not like the slogan being white on black (think it looks cluttered and draws me too the wrong element).

Could you please have a rethink how we achieve this, and perhaps incoroporate my other comments (to the others) relating to incorporating the symbol further by extending it along the base of the main text?

Love the ideas, however I would like to see a slightly different variant than the "bricks". I would love to see the first one altered slightly with more of a technology feel.

Like the last one, but looks a little "OTT" still. I am also not keen on the font.
