Hey folks,

Palmer will probably kill me as I probably didn't read a guideline and he'll likely try to ban me for being in the wrong forum (;)), but I have a church client that I'll be geting a signed contract on a website for tomorrow. My contact emailed me today saying he needs a logo and also they want to have postcards and visitor backs created.

Since this is all print media, I was wondering what charges you would offer for a charity. I don't want to charge them alot, so I don't want you to charge me alot. ;) I don't really have alot of idea for the visitor pack. Perhaps you do.

The logo needs to be able to be in Illustrator format.

Feel free to PM me quotes, if you don't want to quote publically.

Aaron

Why not have a charity competition for the logo and start with that?

What is the name of the charity?

As far as the logo goes, a typical contest prize runs between $50 and $75. Regarding the cost of printing etc., the members of the Design Team that work with print media can probably help with a quote on that.

That won't work. He needs something fast, with more choices, and more participation form the whole team.

The Charity cases forum lacks all those features :D

In addition it needs to be in Illustrator which some of the younger members of the Apprentice team and myself do not have.

I agree with the $50-$75 range for the logo and around $75 to design a print-ready postcard (provided you post all the neccessary specs: finished size, number of colors, full-bleed?, etc. Everything the printer tells you) It would be best if you contact your printer first to obtain printing quotes and get his specs.

As far as the "visitor pack" - we'd need more info as to what that is exactly. I'd assume it's a folder or large envelope filled with info about the place, events, etc. But your client needs to be a little more clear.
