Apparently every day at a particular time, around 11-12 eastern time, there is a DDOS (distributed denial of service) attack on the server that this site is hosted on. Unfortunately the only way my host can stop this is to shut the site down :( They assure me they are trying to resolve this problem with their tech support team and they hope to have the issue fixed asap.

We're sorry for this, and apologize for the inconvenience it's causing for you. If it continues, we may be forced to switch servers but I don't think we will ever have to be down for any long period of time.

Palmer,

It's actually more than a particular time. I don't know about anyone else, but the forum is down alot for me. Sometimes I try to visit and it don't load. Other times I'm browsing the forum and the pages do not load.

Just thought I would let you know.

im having the same problems as bishop....it happens to me a few times a day....and a couple of the times its when im browsing the forum...

It all has to do with them working on the server to resolve the attacks. I received an email yesterday about how hard they're working on it. I really appreciate everyone's patience on this matter. Kind of a pain I know, but usually it's only for a few minutes.

It couldn't happen at a worse time though but I guess we'll have to go with the flow, so to speak, until they fix it. I really don't want to go through switching hosts at this time.

I tried to visit today to register and it wasnt loading, thank god i got on tonight :D

I hope it gets resolved , I havn't had the problem yet but I've only been here for 12 houres or so :)

I think it has, I haven't had any problems for quite a few days. Hopefully it's over so Google can make its rounds and the businesses that I'm promoting to will not experience any troubles accessing the site.
