Figthing cancer in kids *Project Complete*

Hello Designers...

I'm working in a NON PROFIT organization that will help kids to fight cancer with Sailing.

The name of the Organisation is called

F U N P I R A T E S . COM

We need a logo to put in the boats, in the t-shirts and for the Website.

We really like the idea of having the Pirate Flag... BUT...
we need something MORE POSITIVE.

Is important that the logo represent kids having fun.
Our slogan (that is important to have in the logo) is

Fun Pirates. No fear against Cancer. :yes:

At the moment we can't paid for a lot for your hard work, but we promess full credit to the winner + a Nice Sailing Jacket as soon as the Sailing School opens.

Dear Nvoke,
Really liked your design but would prefer it if the pirate was actually smiling as this is all about kids having fun!!
The colours look great....
Just add the smile and we'll see how it looks!

This is great!!!! I really like the smiling face! One small suggestion, could we try and put a bandana on the smiling face....this would be great as a lot of the kids actually wear bandanas for their hair loss and i see them as kinda pirate like. Really like the colours. Its great!!!

Thanks for the great designs and sorry for the slow feedback!
All the designs are fantastic and the choice is getting harder all the time!

Kimber....This is great. The bandana and the parrot really make a difference! I would really like to see the font (FUN PIRATES) a bit brighter and maybe even some different types of fonts. As the logo is going to appear on boats, sails and maybe flags the writing needs to be quite clear. Thanks for the hard work.......

Eziey...i really like the red and black design! I would never have thought of those colours but they work really well!The other design is also great, but i prefer the simplicity of the red and black design. Thanks for adding the smile..it makes a difference. The only suggestion i have is maybe we could try some different fonts??


Bella.....This is a great design! I can't wait to see it with the fonts attached! I especailly like the full coloured version....i look forward to seeing the updated version.

I will making a decsion really soon as the project is starting to take off. Thanks again for all your hard work, i know the kids will love the designs as much as me!

Hello Rebecca,
I've changed the font, for "Fun Pirates", and chose to incorporate some red, to make it sort of a primary-colours design.
Although I'm not sure what your printing budget might be, which is why I initially went with 3 colours.

Thanks for the fantastic designs.....it was a tough choice but as soon as we saw the new version from Kimber we knew it was the one for us. This is exactly what we were looking for...thank you so much Kimber for all your hard work it is much apprectiated!!

can you please send us the files to rebecca_waymouth@yahoo.co.uk in PSD files and JPG. Also it will be great to have it transparent in a .gif format.

As a last, last favor... to try to convince our sponsors we will like to have the logo in photos as you did in the boat (that was great!)... if you have a little bit of time, can you send us some files of the logo in t-shirts, jackets and/or small boats?

If that's a lot of work... don't worry. We are already really happy with the logo!
