I am looking for 2 different logos; one for my High school youth group and 0ne for my jr.high youth group. The high school group has a Sunday night program called Solid Rock Cafe based around a coffee house theme. I am open to anything for this logo and I would use it on our webpage, so it would have to be in jpeg format.
The Jr.high is called SURGE, students, united, reaching, guiding and equipping. I am also very open about this logo, so please be aS CREATIVE AS YOU WOULD LIKE. It would have to be in jpeg format as well.'

Hey an Ohio person! What a small world, I'm from Stow (near Akron). :) I Finished the Solid Rock Cafe one. Similarities to the Hard Rock Cafe (http://www.gvb.com/hrc/hrc-title.gif) logo are purely coincidental :D

Hey, here's my entry for the Solid Rock Cafe.
And yes, the roundness does look a little like the top down view of a coffee cup. ;)
Intentionally, of course. :unsure:

These last few are great, especially the Solid Rock Cafe with the coffee bean in it.

Would you mind being a little more specific? I'm sure we'd all love to help out this cause, but I know more specific feedback would help us help you better.

I think answers to the following questions would be helpful to all of us. Are either of the Surge entries going in the right direction, or would you like a totally new approach from either of us? Also, what would you like tweaked about the Solid Rock Cafe logo to make it even better? Finally, are there examples of logos that you like that would help give us a feeling/style to go with?
