Prize: $125
Ends: October 20th or sooner if primo design is posted

Here is what I need. T-Shirt design for back of our annual event t-shirt. I also need a simple crest for the front left chest (see design from last year).

The event is Riding Arizona's Turkeyweek 2004 at the Boulders (this is the name of the location). I am in need of a desert look & feel with an ATV & Dirt Bike rider...maybe even a turkey (see desing from last year). I am attaching a ZIP file with images. Please note I am looking for a cartoon type design.

Here is a link to the image files I have. In this zip are the following:

TShirt Back: last year's design for event held at Dome Rock
TShirt Front: last year's design for event held at Dome Rock
Boulders Location: photo of the location...you will see why they call it the boulders. You are not required to use this photo but you can use this or any stock photography that is representative of the desert.

Four logo files that must be located along the bottom of the design (or somewhere in the design) and in the following order:
Riding Arizona logo:
Arctic Cat logo:
Orangewood RV:
Prowler Power Sports:

Remaining files:
The remaining files are many different photos of ATVs and dirtbikes with riders on them. They are for your use or you can use other photos. HOWEVER, we need at least one ATV and one DIRTBIKE in the design and I prefer they have riders on them.

I'm not an illustrator, but after reading your post ALLOWING the use of stock images and viewing your zip files I'll make an attempt. PLEASE NOTE the art will not be original, and I'll be working from what you have supplied. PLMK if you DO NOT want me to do a design. Otherwise I'll work on something on Sunday

Sounds good. Last year the designer used the stock photos as a base. I'm no designer, so I cannot fill you in any more but I am open to any designs.

Your design is not quite what I was looking for. I want it to be an illustration, not actual photos. The photos I provided can be used but I would like it to be more of a traditional illustration type t-shirt. Can you mod up a version as more of an illustration?

Sorry, but I told you that I wasn't an illustrator. The photos used have been tweeked with filters in photoshop to make them look like artwork. Maybe if you like the basic idea someone can run with it. A starting visual is always helpful in getting others interested. Wish I could have helped....Good Luck!

Hi Shannon,
Here's a very VERY rough idea of what I have in mind.
I just scribbled this down, but basically, the concept in two crazy-birds on machines. I'm kinda leaning toward making it look loke the machines are "getting away" from the turkeys. Like the turkeys are being taken for a ride instead of doing the riding.
I though it would be funny.
:)

Let me know if this is kinda the idea you're after.

You are on the right track. Just make sure to integrate the Boulders and, naturally, Riding Arizona. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Thanks for the entry. Can you change the font/treatment of the Turkeyweek 2004 Boulders text. It looks really soft and squishy, almost kinda like neon lights? This is a outdoor sport and I need it to be more rugged. Additionally, your colors for the mountains and boulders are really dark. Could you lighten em up a few shades.

Excellent. I like what I see. Can you show me a comp of the crest for the front of the shirt? The only question I have is what is the circle thing that says trail sign? Overally, a really clean design and exactly the type of design we are looking for.
