[Project Complete] Landscaping Co. Logo Contest - $100

I have a client that is starting a landscaping company and needs a logo. Prize is $100. He really likes the work already done here for landscaping companies so this should be an easy contest.

The name of the business is:

Certified Landscape & Lawn Care
(note the ampersand not "and")

He doesn't have a preference for color schemes or ideas for logos, but wants a professional looking logo that will be suited for both commercial and residential work.

The logo will be used on business cards and magnetic signs (among other things) so keep that in mind while designing.

Please feel free to ask questions - I am in contact with him and can forward anything needed to him immediately for comments.

He is leaning towards the last entry, with the grass. He likes the grass/lawn idea more than a certification or seal. Any other ideas along this range would be great.

Just thought I would also add that full color or multiple color logos are okay too... the business cards will be full-color. As long as it can scale down to 1 or 2 color for vehicle magnets we'll be okay.

Wow, what great entries. They all look great - I just sent them to him for his opinion. He's really excited and wants to go ahead and get finished so we'll maybe have a few revisions and then be finished.

However, if anyone wants to enter he likes grass and sunset, however you want to work it. You probably have until this weekend and then he'll make a decision.

I just want to thank everyone for their hard work on the logos... all the entries look good. This time, I'm glad I didn't have to decide the winner. My client had the hard part...

The winner is Beth, great job!

Can you please make a few small changes to the logo/card:

- Make the green color just a little darker
- Make the sun a gradient that is a little darker yellow on top
- Make sure the leaves are smooth (look a little jaggey in the pic)
