[Project Complete] logo needed for lawncare co

We are in need of a logo for our new lawncare company. The name of the company is: Creative Lawncare Solutions.
We would like to use blue as our main color ,but of course green is the most common choice for our business so we could use green.

Welcome to DO. I got a few questions for you that I am sure will help out me and the other designers here eager to give you a great logo.

I see your company does lawncare. What exactly do you do? Mowing? Leave removal? Treat the lawn with chemicals?

Are you a one man company? If not, how many people work for you?

What will you be using this logo for? business cards? print material? Placement on your vehicle(s)?

Have an idea of any logos that appeal to you? Any logos you know that you dislike?

Thanks Jayson, we are a 2 man operation ,my son and I. We do mowing, fertilization, landscaping, hardscaping, mulch, snowplowing. We want to use the logo for everything ,cards, stationary, truck lettering, invoices etc. We aren't too picky on the design ,and don't have any ideas other than a grass border on the bottom and are not married to that idea either. We would just like to see what you can come up with ,based on the other designs I have seen from this site I'm sure you will come up with something that will work for us. Basically we just want something made just for us.

MyChicken- I like your design also except the W is a little hard to read. I like the idea of using grass in the logo though.

I would still like to see some other ideas. I checked out some other things on this site ,and would like to add; we will probably also be looking for the winner of this logo to design us some other stuff like biz cards ,letterhead etc. We realize that would require us putting up more $. So lets see some more ideas. We would like to get this done in the next week so we can get things printed.

mbleigh - I like the 2nd design ,but so far your 1st design with the diamond and green grass is my favorite. I assume that I could tweek it some?

mbleigh and Fabian - I'm close to deciding. I like both of your designs so what I would like to see if you can is;

place your design on the side of a white truck or enclosed trailer so I can get a better feel for how it is going to look on our setup.

I hope that's not asking for too much. Also if both of you can give me an idea of what a business card may look like with your design and how much extra we would have to pay to include that. If that is against design outpost rules let me know that as well and we'll just discuss it after the fact.

Hope this is in time. Thought this was a nice solution seeing as not only do you work with lawns, but also work with snowplowing too. Colors can be changed if you like. Let me know if you would like to see it on a truck.

I am very impressed with the designers on this site. All of the designs are good and you are making it tough to decide.

Our selection is coming soon. Do all of you have the ability to do other things like brochures, flyers etc? The decision to let a pro design a logo was one of the best choices we have made.

It may be on a designer by designer case on whether they can design brochures and flyers. If chosen, I could assist you with those designs.

Also, you could always run another contest here on DO for those.

We have a separate project area for brochures and other identity materials such as letterhead, business cards, post cards, etc.

Once you have chosen a logo, you can start another contest by going to the "Start Project" area just as you did for the logo contest.

We have several designers qualified to do such projects.

Also, just to clarify, JaysonC is not offering the additional work as part of his entry. The additional work would have to be negotiated privately between you and the designer.

Well all of the designs were good ,but of course we have to choose one. After narrowing it down to a couple and much thought we have decided to go with the design that

came up with. Fabian if you can reply to this or email me I would like to discuss some other things with you. I also need to talk to you about how we cn get this logo.
