This logo will be used for a skateboard company. Im not looking for anything in particular would like to see what your creative minds can come up with. I like the style of clothing companies such as ezekiel, rvca, volcom. I don't know if any of you are familiar with skateboard clothing. I can find some examples of styles I like. Although I would like everyone to just play with it.

This is a logo and brand that I can see going far. I see a whole campaign based on "Fend. For yourself." as in skateboards made for you. Also a play off of signage and counterculture with the red X.

Hello sorry about the delayed response to the logos. The holidays kept me pretty busy. A lot to critique so bear with me :P

MOZ: your submissions remind me too much of vision street wear ads I have seen. I'm looking for something very original. So that when you look at it you don't think to yourself "Hmmm haven't I seen this add before."

Aaron: I like your first of two submissions better. The second has too bubbly of a look. Im looking for something slightly darker. Your first submission also has the issue of, I think I've seen that somewhere before. Can't pin point the company that uses the E like that but I know I have seen one.

mbleigh: You on the right track with the "Fend. For yourself." Thats actually the direction we were going. The logo is too simlpe. Im looking for something more current and not neccessarily stuck with skateboarding in case we expand to other demographics.

Victoria: Pretty nice logo. The style is fairly dark but I'm not liking the heart.

shnickerdoodle studios: Ok reminds me of a vision street wear shirt I have seen before. Another thing is once again I'm stuck with skateboarding. I don't want a logo that will bind me to skateboarding.

RadicalSEED: I like the 4rd of those submissions maybe play with the color and show me some different fonts for the F. The first one doesn't appeal to me. Second submission is nice but looks like the SpitFyre logo.

Tonya: Too bright of a logo. Not just the color but the style of it. Im looking for something with a darker appeal to it.

Raja: Nice. I like the font. The style I am looking for but I would like and actual symbol based logo as well as the font.

eziey: Nice logo. Play with some more fonts and colors for me.

MyChicken: Nice logo. creative and I like the way you worked the F into the skateboarder. But I think it is to "happy" of a logo.

graphixparanoid: Too bubbly of a logo. Also binds me to skateboarding.

Justg: Decent logo. Too clean and simple

samoyloff: Nice logo glad to see the symbol. Although the logo seems too oriental to me.

Sorry about getting shorter towards the end I just felt like I was repeating myself a lot. Hopefully everyone will read all of the feedback. A lot of people so if I missed anyone just yell at me

I believe it fits well within any type of activity. This icon/logotype looks well with or without text.
The dividing line that separates the two F's can also be represented as the letter S, standing for either skate, surf or snow...

PS: this is pretty cool, since I like to skateboard :D

Just G: looking for something with a symbol in it. Not big on that font

Fabian: Pretty nice. Show me some different colors and maybe some different effects on it.

lonelyrabbit: Nice. Show me with the the logo being black and w h i t e (apparently that is a bad word so I spaced it out) but inverse from the one there. Also lets see it with spaces to outline the S in it.

MyChicken: Not big on the viper. For some reason vipers remind me of hillbillies. The new version of the "crossing sign" I'll call it is better. Work with that some. Maybe some different color schemes or effects.

MOZ: looking for a symbol not just a font.

Aaron: a little to space aged.

RadicalSEED: I like #5 and #6 also. Show me some more colors of those.

Carl: Not interested in the two people as a logo. Looks more like a t-shirt design.

I would like shapes for the symbol... and font go ahead and try a gothic, dark kinda style. Maybe something grungy. If you have any questions feel free to ask I'm explaining as much as I can from the top of my head.

RadicalSEED: Sorry I had no intentions on offending you just wanted to see how that logo played with different color schemes. Seems to work well when you throw the effect on the logo.

MyChicken: I like the logo better with the circle as opposed to the square.

lonelyrabbit: The white in the new version takes away from the F and emphasizes the S too much.

Just_G: Interesting logo. Neat use of simple characters.

Aaron: Tribal: The tribal is neat, the grunge works good with that font. Although the grunge and the tribal are too much.
F w/ Star: The F looks kind of disproportional maybe because you had to extend it to fit over the star. Also I don't like the font of that F.
F w/ Streetsign: Reminds me too much of school. Like the school crossing signs.

Tonya: Nice look. Reminds me of something you would see on a guitar for some reason.

Also I forgot to post a deadline so I will be ending this contest Saturday 1/15/05.

Thanks, thepryme, Michael. Yes, so any revisions?..I know you wanted some sort of brandmark....my design did not lend it self to accompany an icon very well...however, I can try some different arrangements. Thanks again.
