(Admin code added by Palmer - N8229045V)

We started as a landscape/Grounds maint.only co. (Division I) We expanded to General Construction/Remodeling/Home repair (Division II) The old logo was a simple heart base with a tree in the center that was flanked by evergreen shrubs on one side and decid. shrubs on the other(1982). This worked well with the name "Loving Care Landscapes". Now that we added Con./Remod/Repair I droped the Landscapes from the name and made the name "Loving Care Enterprises" (1995) We still do some grounds maint and landscape but need to have a logo that reflects the new aspects of the business also. I do the landscape designs and the construction designs myself...but I am stuck on what to do with the logo. I will use it on B.Cards and for truck and box trailor lettering/advertising.

Often with such a diverse company it is best to go with something simple but recognizable so that it can expand to any number of services or products...tell me what you think!

I'm still working on the iconic treatment, but here's another textual set to look at.

Hi Steve,

Here are your edits... wordless and green. Just as a reminder, any communication between the clients and the designers must be posted here on the public board. ;)

Thanks,

Aaron

Things are looking good so far. I like the heart with the house inside but it needs a small ref. to the old. Maybe a tree at the other end of the name.....or not. It is simple and the picture if posted without words could still tell the story.

The house and tree are ok but it reminds me of farming, the house looks a little like a shed. Maybe to bold for the clients I face. I live in one of the fastest growing areas in the country (Columbus, Ohio). Les Wexner of the (Limited, Limited Too, Victorys Secret, Ect. Ect. Ect. ) has created a community in my old home town (New Albany, Ohio)that bosts about all of the 750,000 plus home costs. A little more contempory I think.

eziey;
I like your #2 better. Is there room in the other side of the heart oppisit the trees for a person seated on a stool, working over a simple drafting table with a simple light over the table. I think that it would keep the balance by keeping the images at three and add a bit of the human touch. The largest of the logos will be about 16-18 inches tall and placed on the sides of the box trailer. The color of the trailers are matalic gray with black accents, what would be your choice for color of the logo and text.

I thank all who responded to my need and I can see that everyone put in quality time. I had miss givings about how this was giong to turn out but I'm now ready to pass this site on to anyone that will have the same needs. I have now found what it was I was looking for.

Thanks to eziey, I have selected your efforts. I feel that the design is perfect as it is, the story is told with out a word. Please let me know what is next. I work through Windows XP if that will help you with setting up the transfering of information.

I would like the new logo sent to me in a form thatI can open! Just e-mail me with it as an attatchment. What ever you are using can not be opened by my present programs and I grow tired of trying to get it to work. I left my PC running for over three hours as it tried to download but all I get is "This file is not recognizable"!
