I need a logo for my business, "PeppyPC".

It needs to be professional, simple, clean, friendly and non-technical while conveying computing.

My business is all about customer service and making computing easy for the user.

I do not have a tagline, so if you think of something witty, feel free to incorporate it.

I am open to anything, but I like the simple style of Apple computer or Volkswagon. Something that looks good in mono is a major plus.

Maybe something in Maroon or Red and tan?

I would like to have this done before 01.17.2005.

Matt - Thanks for the quick entry. I like the simplicity, and the semi-retro look is an interesting twist. I'm not too sure about the rounded rectangle around Peppy though, any other ideas?

Maybe some other fonts or colors.. it doesn't have to be red and tan, I'd just like it to feel warm.

Thanks!

Hey Matt,

I hope you are well.

I like the direction of the second design better (specifically the one on the bottom with the logo inside the name).

Would it be possible to see it in mono and maybe a few other color schemes?

Thanks!

Hello!

Thanks so far for all the entries, very impressed with the concepts.

Moz: I am not sure this is the direction I would like to take, I like the simplicity and the conveyance of "happiness" but the overall feel to me is not right. I have been impressed by some of your other projects and would like to see another concept from you.

Mowling: Thanks for the monochrome and the new color combos. I think I like the fourth one down best. This one is definately in contention. Not sure what else I can ask for for an improvement, it looks very good. If you have any other concepts I would love to see them as well.

Eziey: This one gave me a yin-yang feel which I like. I liked the colors and the simplicity. This is also a strong contender with me. Can you provide any other color combos? I would be curious to see orange instead of red with the purple. I like the bold of the "Peppy" with the normal text of the "PC" to set them off. Other than alternative color arrangements maybe a different font?

Thanks again all for your great entries!

eziey : The one on the bottom looks good, I prefer that font.

I am thinking of using "Friendly Computer Help" as a tagline, would you mind seeing how it could be incorporated into the logo?

Thanks!

eziey: Great, I like the tag line in there. Still not sure which color I prefer... Can you do one with the original red with the tag line please?

Mowling: Can I please see your design with the same red / purple colors?

Thanks!

Guys, these both look great!

Not any changes that I can think of I want to see. At this point I am running the designs by my associates and getting feedback.

Both of these designs are great. If you come up with any additional ideas, I'd love to see them - the only negative thing I've heard is that they both look "too corporate" but I would rather have it look professional than tacky. If you have any concepts that are still this professional but a little more "peppy" then I would love to see them.

Thanks!

Mowling: I changed my mind.. :-)

I've been gathering opinions and would like to see your logo in the same orange / purple color combo also - and with "Friendly computer help" added if you could please sir!

Thanks!

eziey: that is outstanding! Very warm and friendly while remaining simple, and it looks good in mono.

mowling: see above post please.

I must admit that both of you guys are excellent designers and I have having a horrible time trying to make up my mind.. it changes back and forth at least a few times daily... great job guys!

I have decided to go with the computer logo by Mowling.

I was personally leaning toward eziey's design, but in the end it seems that a lot of people just didn't see the mouse in the logo. It was most commonly percieved as a puzzle piece....

Mowling: Congrats! Our research showed your design to have the best reaction with our target market. I like the orange / purple with the logo to the left (3rd from the top in you last post), however - I prefer the font/text of eziey's logo. eziey has graciously agreed release the files so that you can incorporate his text with your graphic.

eziey: Thank you so much for you design and all the work you put into it. I really appreciate you helping us out with the text, it is a very kind and unexpected gesture. I look forward to workimng with you again on our next project.

Both:
If the two of you can coordinate the file exchange that would be great, as I do not have an email address for either of you. If you would rather I handle it - you can email me at james@peppypc.com

Thanks so much guys!

Thanks so much! It looks superb!

I need it in whatever format it needs to be in for sending off for business cards and getting some shirts made. I am guessing .eps, .pdf and .png in a good resolution?

You probably have a lot more experience than I do with it - what do you suggest?
