[Project Complete] Lawn care logo $100 Parker Lawn Care - Deadline 13 Jan

Hey everyone
I have been through many of these threads and I am highly impressed. I am in need of a logo for my lawn co.
The name is Parker Lawn Care and I offer all types of lawn maintenance from weed control, fertilizing applications, basic cut, shrubs.....pretty much you name and I'll do it.
I am mainly trying to focus on the cutting and the fertilizing.

I am looking for a fairly simple design. I will eventually want to use the logo for business card so a 2 color design would be best.
For now it will be used for invoices and to go on the side of my White Tundra extended cab.

Since I am focusing of fert/cutting I would like one of the colors to be green and probably some grass of some sort in the logo. I have seen a lot of blue and green combos and like it, but would like to also try something different.

If any other information is needed please let me know. I am looking forward to this contest. Also, I will likely talk to the winner about doing door knockers and business card afterwards.

Here's what i think

I like the layout of the text, but I think the font is too "blocky" in PARKER. It looks good in lawn care though. I definitely like the idea of using the "P" in the graphic, but the horizontal lines are not working for me. The only other thing like i said before is that i am not tied to blue, so some alternate color combos would be great.

Hey everyone!

I think there are enough designs for me to make a decision, but here are some suggestions for each before I make my final decision.


Eziey - I like #3 with the inverted text. I would like to see a different font on PARKER, something like #2 Although I know that might be a little thin inverted. I would also to see some other colors on the box that parker is in. The "P" from the blade of grass is great.

Chicken - I definitely like #2 but would like to make the graphic smaller and Parker lawn care larger. Also try some possible different placements of the graphic and maybe a change in color of the blue.

Beth - The P is too large and laks some character, so I guess try some different fonts or something to make it pop! I like the layout and the grass so not much work to go.

G)(G - I like the Parker and the grass, but the banner w/ lawn care looks more like a sports theme, so if you could change that a bit it would be great. Also, I am trying to keep it to 2 colors if possible but if that hinders your design don't worry about it.

Jayson - the same thing as G)(G on the colors. I like the lines and and the layout, but the graphic is not working for me. It needs something a little more lawn related.

Everyone feel free to experiment w/ the colors and text, I can honestly say that everyone has a great chance. I would still like to end this contest on 1/13, but if anyone needs some more time let me know. I appreciate all the great work, and I owe all of you

Thanks for the quick updates!

Chicken - It's great like it is now with the smaller graphic centered on top.

Eziey - The new font is perfect. I would like see the old color combo with the light and dark greens and one more with the maroonish color that you used on the text on #2.

Hey Everybody!

With all of revisions, you have made it a very tough decision. I appreciate all of the work you put into this for my small business.

With that being said, I have decided to go with Mychicken's design #3 or #4. It was the one that just seem to always pop out to me. Chicken, if you could please email me at colorad00@hotmail.com, I have a couple of questions for you, about tweaking the final design.
