I need a logo for an upcoming Cable Television Conference we have planned in San Diego California. The theme of the meeting is "Hooked on Cable". Please read the description below to understand exactly what I'm looking for:
You're cruising along at 140 mph, enjoying the incredible view of endless blue sky and sea from the cockpit of your lean, mean cable system. Suddenly, you hear the voice of your customers over the radio: "I want more, newer, faster, technology now!"
You must take action right away and still land right on target. You've got the momentum, but with so many factors in today's sea of broadband, your floating target looks like a mere postage stamp in the middle of the ocean. You've practiced for hours in your cable-system simulator, but now it's time for the real thing. It's time to get Hooked on Cable at NCTC's 21st Annual Members Meeting.
I'm envisioning a logo that shows an airplane landing on an aircraft carrier and catching the tail hook cables -- that could look like a piece of coax cable (television cable). We want to keep it to no more than 3 or 4 colors and we need the following text to appear somewhere in the logo: Hooked on Cable NCTC's 21st Annual Members Meeting. If you can fit in the dates (July 31 - August 2, 2005) that would be nice too, but not mandatory.
We're doing an event on the USS Midway, so this event will tie in nicely to this logo/theme.
Logo will be used on our website and in printed materials and signage at the event. Please keep in mind that we will need it in eps (600 dpi). I need to be able to use the file in Photoshop and Quark Express.
This is a tight deadline -- Contest ends January 17!!:eek:
