I have started a new company which sells fishing reels. I am searching for a logo for putting on my fishing reels. The logo must include "PRO Challenger" in it.

Hi prochallenger,
I will be working on a concept for you. Could you please tell us a little about your reels? Fresh water, salt water (bottom, trolling, flats), fly fishing, etc? Maybe supply a picture?
Thanks.

Hi Jason,
I will be carrying Trolling, BaitCasting, Fresh water and Salt Water. You can check out the pictures at www.internationalchallenger.com
Thanks,

Thought I might start this out with something I'm sure you weren't expecting.
I figured that since red, blue and green were used by the larger reel makers, that I would try orange.

I am looking for a log in round, and the "PRO" word is on top of the "Challenger" word.
Thanks,
Pro Challenger

Just to understand a little better...
Are you looking for something iconic to accompany the round design?
FYI, I had a round design done, no icon, and deleted it thinking it was too "standard"

Mostl likely I will put the logo on the side of the reel.

Yes, I am also looking for something iconic to accompany the round design, too.

Here you go. It's not a circle, but I thought it fit better like this. In case you are wondering what the icon is...
Abstract fish - Inside of the "P" is the tail, the rest is the head and body.
Abstract reel - Inside of the "P" is the crank, the rest is the body of the reel.

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the long feedback that follows. I realize I should have given more detail with my submission.
In addition to my comments below, I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of design that incorporates an oval logo with a border or some sort.
Jason: Thanks for the submits. I am not sure about the orange color. Could you try maybe using a nice blue? Also, I don't really think the abstract fish is right for the image I am looking for. Could you experiment with a couple of other things, such as fishing reels... less abstract fish, etc? One last thing, I don't really like the rounded-rectangle. Could you make it more purely round, or oval shaped?
MOZ: Thanks for the great submissions. It may be a bit too involved to show up clearly as a small logo on a reel though. Could you remove the fishing line and bait? Also, could you make the PRO in all uppercase and could we try a different font that is not cursof? I like a fish in the logo, but yours is perhaps a bit too realistic. Could we try something in between Jason's abstract fish and your realistic fish?
Eziey: Thanks for participating. I feel like your fish looks too much like a minnow. Could you perhaps change it up a bit. Also, the lettering should be more prominent in the logo.
Thanks.

Eziey: Thanks for submission. Can you make a fish a bit little more realistic like Moz (not too realistic). I think if a fish wrap aroud the word PRO Challenger, that will be great. Also, can you not to use 3D font?

Eziey, thanks. It is getting there. Can you display "PRO Challenger" in blue or any color you think it will look good? Also, I think it will even look better if you could make the "PRO Challenger" stands out a little bit. Thanks,
Alan

Eziey, can you make a little water splash with your design? I try to picture the fish is jumping up out of the water. Thanks, Alan
I'll cast my entry into the pond.
Hi Alan thanks for asking, but I feel anything that I enter based on my original idea will be too much like Eziey's entry. If there's still time I may be able to get you something else.

Hi Fabian, thank you for the submission. You have some good idea, but I don't think those are fishes. Can you make a fishes little better?
Thanks,

What i tryed to do was represent the spinning motion of the reel by the two fishes chasing each other in a circler motion.Do want a more detailed fish with fins and gills as my more abstract fish are'nt to your taste ?

Hi Fabian, I do like your idea. Yes, I want to see a little bit more details on the fishes. It would be even better have a little water splash on the top fish. Do you know what I am looking for?
Thanks,
Alan

Hi Fabian, this is a good stuff. It is possible to make those fished between Eziey's abstract fish (last submission) and your realistic fish? Also, canwe try some other font for the word "PRO"?
Thanks,

Hi Fabain, I think I like the fishes in your concept 1.2. Sorry, about going back and fore on those fishes. Can you give me some examples with difference fonts and colors on the words "PRO Challenger"? I am looking for something it will get the buyer's attention. Those fishes are good started. I am very thankful for your afforts.

Hi Eziey, thank again for the submission. I think it looks good.
Hi Fabian, I don't know what seirf or sans seirf look like. Can you show them to me? I think the font Eziey used was the one I am looking for.

Hi Eziey,
It is getting there very close. Can you try to open up the fish's mouth a little? Then, I think we will be there.
One of my partner would like to see that fish as a Marlin. Can you do that?
Thanks,
Alan

Thanks for your recent submissions eziey.
We are definitely getting closer. Could you take a look at these two marlin pictures as a reference and modify your marlin to look more like them:
1. http://www.landbigfish.com/fish/fish.cfm?ID=47
2. http://www.blueoceantackle.com/blue%20marlin.jpg
In particular, could you try to match the open mouth of the second link... to make it more like the fish is being caught.
Also, I am not sure about the oval background behind the fish. Could you try some alternatives... such as without the background, or with a slightly different background?
Thanks.

Hi Eziey,
That looks great! Just a couple more requests:
1. Could you try to tighten up the chin/neck of the fish. Make it a little smaller, or more of a curve?
2. Could you add some detail to the tail... similar to what is in the fin?
3. Also, could you try a darker shade of blue... like a steel blue or something. Maybe a couple different choices for that one please.
4. Could you also try one sample with the fish blue, and the text black?
Thanks a lot.

Hi Eziey,
Thank you for the great works. I am kind like the Pantone 541 CVC & black logo. Could you please toucj up with the nose of the fish? Because it looks like a bird. I think its nose should be little bit longer.

Hi Eziey,
Well done. The last thing I would like to see if you can give us a rough idea of what the logo will look like on a business card. I saw you have done that to some other clients.
Thanks,

Hi Eziey,
I will need gif, jpg, jpeg, jpe, jfif, tif, tiff, PDF, AI, and DNV files. I will also need the file type for busniess card, anything you can think of.
I still see this project still open. How can I edit the title to [Project Completed]?
Thanks,
Alan

Link to download your file has been sent to your private message .
For business card design, you can use file provided under "vector " folder (eps, pdf or AI)...
I've never heard of DNV format...I don't think that it is necessary
when you already have vector, high resolution tiff and jpg...
Please advise..
