Dear Designers:
First off, I have to say that I am incredibly excited to have found this website! After numerous attempts at working with individual designers, it is nice to find a place where so many different styles can merge into a single place. The quality of work that you all have done here is amazing! I am very excited to see what you all come up with for our project. J
Here is the deal… We are a start-up company that has several products in development, but the first product we are releasing to the market is called the Tru Stance ™ custom insole. It is a heat-moldable, custom insole designed for use exclusively in golf shoes. The insole provides greatly increased comfort as well as performance enhancements by creating a more solid connection between a golfer’s foot and the ground. Insoles of this type are very popular in skiing, cycling, snow-boarding and hiking circles. We are taking a successful idea to a different market.
We are looking for a sporty, hip, yet simple logo. We would want an emblem in addition to the words Tru Stance™. We are open to colors, but some variation of green probably would make sense based on the golf market we will be selling in. We also have a tag-line “It starts with the feet”™ that can be used, but is not necessary. Again, the look and feel we are looking for is sporty and new age, yet simple. We are excited to see what you come up with and will be very active with feedback to your submissions. Good Luck!

Michael -
Great start! We are very impressed with such a quick response. These could very easily be logos that we select at the end of the auction. The one thing however, is something I probably should have been more clear on. I would like to have a non-verbal emblem to accompany the logo. This allows us to really build a true brand identity. A non-verbal emblem can be used for various branding applications. Do you know what I am getting at? I suppose an example would be the Cingular Wireless logo. The name Cingular is included, but there is also an icon (the thing that resembles a jack).
Great work!
Steven
I couldn't resist the temptation to develop a logo using the foot as a golf hole. It just seemed right.

We understand the temptation and there are some merits to your design, but I suppose we are looking for something a little more modern, professional, sporty, and unique. The symbol portion of the logo is key to what we are looking for. Something similar to the Nike swoosh in that it will become a major portion of the branding, able to stand alone from the text portion of the logo. Thanks and we look forward to your work!

Hi Rabbit!
This logo we really felt needed to be more semetric, I suppose we kind of have a thing for a more balanced look. Sorry if we were not too clear on that from the beginning. We are really new to this!

I like this one and the other one you have below. The main thing I like is the emblem/symbol that accompanies the text. Well done.

Not quite sure if I see the shoe profile entirely, but I love the design. I particularly like your font selections. This may be the leader in the clubhouse, but is there a way to condense the lines so that they could more easily be used by themselves? Something that would allow them to stand alone as a unique and identifiable symbol?
Thanks!

I like it! However, perhaps it would look better with the symbol to the left of the text? It looks great on the business card!
I also think I prefer a more modern type of text after viewing a few of the other logo options below. You all do fabulous work!
Do I give enough feedback, information to work with? I want to be sure I am an easy client to work with...

VERY close, just not sure if the emblem/symbol might be a little too complicated. Perhaps more simple and you will have it 100%!

Well done! This is one we are considering, however, we are leaning towards the design by eziey. Is has a great, unique symbol that would stand alone quite well. We appreciate your work thus far though!

Not bad at all. Well done tying in the foot theme. However, at this point we are leaning towards the design by Eziey. It is really the type of design we are looking for. Simple, elegant and with a symbol that has the ability to create a strong brand identity and can stand alone from the text portion of the logo. If you use that design as a point of reference and come up with something along those lines, perhaps we will like it more?? Never know. Thanks for all your hard work!

Best one you have done so far rabbit! We like it and see it as kind of a retro, seventie throw-back kind of design. Not positive that is what we are looking for, but certainly something to consider!
Steven
I appreciate the feedback. A couple things I tried to do was incorporate, in a very subtle way, the arch of an insole. The fact that the arch+tee="T" was a bonus.
I also wanted to convey a sense of soft vs. hard, by incorporating the wave into the tee itself, hence the exaggerated point.
Can't fault me for lobbying a bit.
