I like the font it is very clear.

Please make sure that the word "Dan" has the same weight as the rest of the name. Remove the person smiling I don't care too much for it. The face has too much emphasis on Dan and we have a lot more employees then just Dan.

The prize for this project has been upgraded to $125.00 and a deadline has been added at Januray 30, 2005 however if we recieve a very good submission before then we will not hesitate to select that person.

That's exactly along the lines of what I was looking for. Now if you could tweak it just a bit by trying different color combination (green being the major one). Also if you could ad something around it to sort of make "Dan The Grassman Lawn & Landscapes" part stick out even more. I'm not what it needs but surprise me. Good 1st submission from you.

Thanks for the submission. I would like the same amount of emphasis given on "Dan" as the rest of the text "The Grassman". I don't wan't Dan being the prominent feature. Overall I do like concept but it does need to be re-tweaked just a bit.

That is exactly more along the lines of what I am looking for. Now if you give me 1 or 2 more revisions of that basic design changing the font and trying another pic I can really see my options.

I will await for your revision and any others for my logo since yours was the closest to the idea I was looking for.

Just a fair warning to others ezjay and mbliegh have got it really close to what I want for this project so my final decision will be made within this week should others decide to enter/revise their submissions.

I worked on a logo that tries to encompass all that you do.

The logo shows - grass, water, leaves, dew, lawncare (watering and treatment)

i would rather prefer the pic to the left of the text, I am not to keen abou the water droplet or the text....but the layout IS the style I am looking for. So you are not too far off base.

Your other design was way better. Keep the pic I like it, if I need to make minor changes I will (like color) otherwise if I don't receive anymore outstanding submissions within the next 24 hours ezjay will be declared the winner.

Also Note that in the next 2-3 days I will be posting a contest for a business card design and 4 different- 8.5 by 11 brochures for my business in the $500 range (TBD) all under one contract to be designed by qualified designers only ...ie... people with experience and people who have submitted good designs for my logo in the project.

Honestly I'm not to attracted to the design now that I see it in this format at all. The font is not really all that impressive or more over neither is the whole layout. If you look at ezjey's first submission that is kind of what I envisioned the logo to look llike from the beginning. If you wish to re-submit another entry by tomorrow you can for fair consideration otherwise I will go with ezjey's design.

Yes the design is the one with the tree and the grass in the logo. Can you just show me 1 or 2 other font styles just so I can see the contrasts between them. But most likely I will go with your original design.

I like #4 for visual purposes like trucks, banners and for "high profile" uses. But your original font design is more elegant for newsletters, t-shirts, business cards etc.
