Greetings,

We need to establish a "clear and separate identity" for our part-time irrigation service sub-contractor.

We are looking for a turf irrigation related logo/icon that will be used to the left of the name "Bolsen". We will only need the logo but I would like to ask if you would please post your submissions along side the name in a basic block type font for visualization purposes. The real life print color of the name is a basic blue and the logo will be used against a white background.

A one or two color design should be sufficient. Please do not use any wrenches or pipe themes. Also please do not use any letters from the name as part of the design in case we would fail to meet the sub-contractor requirements at some point in the future and the logo reverts back to us. Other than that we are open to all suggestions.

If I can provide any other useful information please let me know.

Thanks.

Hello. Let's get it started! Here's one from MOZ

Part of successful logo design integrates the text and font choices with the imagery itself. In fact many companies choose to use only a text treatment as their logo.

If you could post an image of the text you are using for the logo, the designers can better match the two.

Thanks!
Carl...

Moz:

Thanks for the quick reply. Looks pretty good to start things off. Water droplet is fine. Will have to think on the foliage for awhile. No revision request at this time.

Carl: Thanks for the input. The font style to be used will be basic Arial text in Navy blue. The actual text string will read "Bolsen Irrigation". First letter of each word in caps. Hope this helps.

Hey there Rick! Hows this?

Hello...here is a concept.

thanks,

Thanks for the new submissions.

RadicalSEED:

Thanks. Unfortunately a regional seed corn supplier uses an icon very similar to the stem/leaf combo. Would like to see any other concepts you might have.

Matt:

Thanks also. Interesting concept. Can you retain the blue outline and use the green to create a single leaf or other related shape? This make any sense to you?

MOZ: Would like to see a version of yours with only the two bottom leaves if possible.

Thanks again everyone.

Would you like a single leaf grass blade or some other type of leaf?

Matt,

Let's try a grass blade. This would be more relevant for turf irrigation.

eziey,

Thanks for joining in. This one might be a little too abstract for us. Have anything else in mind?

Deanna,

Welcome aboard.

One request: Can you simplify the design a little by having the droplet falling on the grass only? Without having the two tied together?
If I need to clarify let me know.

Thanks.

MOZ:

Would it be possible to see a version of your last post with say three smaller droplets- top one centered between the two bottom ones- instead of the one larger drop?

Thanks.

I think this is what you want

Hey Moz:

My fault. Didn't explain that very well. Try three drops the same size, arranged in a triangular shape. You may even have to use five droplets to make it look right. Your the judge there.

Thanks.

Adrian:

Nicely done. Clean and not too complicated. No revision request at this time.

Deanna:

Is it possible to post your icon only, without the text string, from concept #4 in a slightly larger image and without the bottom brown rectangle?

Thanks.

Another revision from MOZ. Is this what you have in mind?

I can be dense sometimes

MOZ:

Not quite what I was after. However, after viewing your noble efforts I believe what I was thinking would be too "cluttered". Trying to stay clean and simple this time around. I appreciate your effort.

Hi Paula,

Thanks for the variety. Design number 2 is very nice. I haven't decided whether I prefer a or b just yet. No revision request at this time.

Nice job. I'm picking up a little turf, some foliage, and of course the water element. No revision request at this time.

Hey Paula,

My mistake. No revision required!! I will need a jpeg and an eps file. Just the icon only, no text string. Thanks.
