Hello,
I have searched on the web for my country flag in .eps format (El Salvador) I can not find anything worth buying or of good quality. I want just The centered emblem design part of the flag.
I trust that this team will help recreate the design.
Here is the flag (http://homepage.mac.com/gratitude/PeacePath__Flags_Data/ElSalvadorF.gif)
I want it not to look that plain as in that picture. I want it to be simple and in black and white. I want it to look more proffesional better drawn and more detailed. That is my project i hope it will interest you as a designer to help me out. This file will be used for shirts and hats.
Today is monday i will give you until Saturday to finish this for me thank you. good luck :)
Here is a brief description of the flag.

I have a question, what is that red thing at the peak of the mountain?

it's a red hat it originated from Argentina's flag.

Hey, sisko :)
That red hat is kind of a culprit for the South America, eh? :) It actually came from the French Revolution times, AFAIK, and nearly every South American country has at one time or another put it on their shield... Along with some cannons/rifles, "banderas" and some branches of whatever they could come up with.
On the last Graphic Design Congress here in Venezuela, there was a speaker from Bolivia who did a rather interesting work on investigating different shields of South America and finding that there's actually very little sense in what they put there, as every new government tends to change the shield in some way and add something to it, and sometimes it's absolutely arbitrary thigs that they like from another shields or whatever
He showed us about 10 different versions of Bolivian national shield remounting to different times in their history, and the arguments behind the changes were often ridiculous, as well as the graphic work that followed them. As this is a government area, the graphic designers' opinions don't usually get much heard or even noticed, so the usually shields need plenty of work but who's gonna ask the government to allow themselves to do it?
I bet you can find different versions of the shield of Salvador on the net, with different arrangements of elements, different relative sizes and colors of the elments and such. :)

Alex, cool i didn't know. Good info thank you. I do see different versions of the flag but i think the new one is best.

Wow your are amazing. The looks the same as in the picture. I am pleased with your design. However i was wondering if you can show me what it would look like in black and white? but do please keep two versions of them i might want both. Black and white and in color.
Can you also add few more details small ones. example the rainbow can you add six stripes? can you add ripples to the water. Shades to the mountains. I have found two links that can show you what i mean. Thank you again for your help so far so good! I know it said keep it simple but i just want it to look a bit different. So they’ll know that its a another option on the market.

Wow!
The revised version looks really good. The black and white looks wonderful and the color looks even better. Two last changes and the money is yours sir.
On the spears can you add that 3d look to it? Like in that references picture number one (the blue picture)
Can you also add the words that circle the red hat (15 DE SEPT. DE 1821)
Everything look more then expected you are really talented and i appreciate your efforts. I was wondering in the future id i can give you work similar to this job. Do i post it here or can we work pirvate?
Thank you for your time and patience.
