Hi there, this is my first time using desingoutpost so this new to me.
30% too tall
Steves Gaint intranet needs to be a dynamic name
nav button will need to be dynamic and be able to adjust their size accordingly
don't need session number
smaller login ect on right
I will need this to tie in to a left nav bar of about 125 pixels
If this works out you can give me about 5 colors oargane , greens, dark blue etc.
thanks for trying

Okay perhaps I have not been clear enough to encourage more than one idea here??
Client this is $272 for design
here is a POOR example of present website
fvdi.com
boy do I need a left nav bar
http://fvdi.intranetsite.com/index.php?method=Forum.View&ForumID=32
need these nav buttons to adjust in size to a dynamic new names
top log is not applicable but I like skinny top banner
It would be nice if the banner had a color like dark blue that trailed out at the far left 125 pixels so as to tie into nav buttons on the left
would be nice if header had a color change from right to left with the left side blending into the nav bar color
a little bit of flash would be nice
just a slight improvement over this left nav bar would be nice
like this http://promontorypark.ca/images/leftnavbar.gif
very plain standard header is
http://promontorypark.ca/images/intralook.gif
I do like to keep the header not too much deeper in size this is 55 pixels, 100 would be tops.
okay lets hear from all you design experts out there

actually I like this look for header and left nav bar .. they need to tie together better and the colors don't match but the swirl towards the left nav bar is nice
http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/E4D19123-9DD3-11D1-B44E-006097071264.htm
This domain header and drop down nav bar combined with left nav bar is a nice size
http://www.mydomain.com/
I think the http://www.designoutpost.com is great .. especailly with its simple left nav bar

Dark blue nav bar with the home in it is still a little Bold and not tied into the rest of the page.
perhaps a little softer blue
Tying the Dark blue to the left nav HELP this still does not work I pulled it down a little to help make the transition .. but we need some gradient here or some thing ev en looking at our very on bar for this very post “ Reply to Thread “
Now there must be a way to gently blend this header and bar in the nav bar on the left
Did you see my two examples of a nice sweeping curve with muted edges for even this design post header
Just about time for footer
Aliska

thansk for your hard work.
:D little tune up
the gradiant in the left nav bar to come out
give me a reverse gradiant below the nav bar box eg login
we will be doing back ground color changes and this nav section needs to expand twice a deep in some cases
home needs to go up in to the solid color for color changes
still plan to use the top nav bar
done deal
now I need about 5 more colors for this whole template
browns, greens, dark gray,wine
what do want to charge for that
been away for a few weeks
curtisannev
03-14-2005, 02:47 AM
oh the new color for the actual nav bar please.. just doesn't seem to match the blues

Here is changes:)
I've added some element from myself. Should I come it out?
About reverse gradian...I didn't sure I understood you right... When I made bottom gradiant from light to darker down... it's looking not nice:( and this way links (project, groups, etc.) are doesn't go up in to the solid color, but, as I think, they should.
But if everything is fine I'll make 4 colors.
Waiting for your answer.
Thanks,
Aliska

Hi there
So I tuned up the nav bar with exception of the home not being moved up into the Blue.
So now we have a gradient to top of nav bar as before
And also leaving the lighter colored nav in the middle and at bottom touching the footer
All the gradients should be the same height
I need solid colors in order to expand my links
Must be honest these blue colors seem very Eastern block and not very contemporary the top orange doesn't go at all so we must go back to the white on blue.
But here are 4 more samples of colors the go together very well
curtisannev
03-14-2005, 06:20 PM
acutally you could pick up the light rose inthe top logo for your nav bar color scheme
curtisannev
03-14-2005, 06:46 PM
the last one on the bottom left ahs some colors that go with exact color of blue

you will notice the left boarder beside the search is a little off
and the gradiant is too thick on the bottom should matcht he rest
can't use a gradiant for actual links iso it become too much dead space
thanks
Aliska
03-17-2005, 09:18 AM
I'll fixed it in a few minutes.
About psd, should I send you files by e-mail or by uploading it and giving you link on it?
As for additional colors, it's not realy necessary but I would realy happy to receive a bonus for this;)

Hello:)
You need 2 htmal pages one with nav bar/menu on left (it's what I have done already) and one with it as a 2nd header so the Body is near full width (I've attached this version below).
Have I understood you correctly?
Thanks,
Aliska

well Aliska
So a job well done
so I have another job for ya
do you8 want to peice together some of these images to make some thing similar
to http://ffmindia.intranetsite.com
into
http://ffmi.ca/
you can find a goup photo or more indidual phots at at http://ca.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/curtisannev/album?.dir=/ef4e&.src%20=%20"ph&.tok=phpl8rCBG2NTryvK
so get back to me if you can hand this
I make a lot of headers
like
FVDI.com
Melodylandsigns.com
Coughlinconstrucion.com
so I need some one like you to actually make the header from 4-6 phtos and blend them together.
are you interested?
Aliska
03-19-2005, 05:18 AM
Hello:)
Yes I can create it.
So as I understood I should take images from http://ffmi.ca and make with it header such as on http://ffmindia.intranetsite.com? If so should I use the same brown color for header as on http://ffmindia.intranetsite.com or any I like?
And one more question. As I understood you don't need html-version of your header? Cause I can create css-code.
Thanks,
Aliska
