This project is for a 4 color logo that will be used for a magazine and the re-design of their website. The company name is "Southern States Fishn' and Huntn' Magazine".

The old logo is just that, old and tired but notice how it uses water and camo to relay fishing and hunting. We would like possibly something similar maybe using fish and deer or something along those lines.

This magazine covers all aspects of fishing (Offshore, Inshore and Freshwater) and hunting for the southern states of Florida, Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina so maybe a map would be a nice touch.

Mark, yours is close to what we want. Here is an image that is simialr to what we are trying to do. Maybe with a Sailfish, a Deer and a Large Mouth Bass.

Is this a logo or an illustration project? Something like the above is very detailed and time consuming for a designer to create. It would most likely require a higher amount offered to entice more designers to enter.

I did an illustration based on what you stated about the deer, fish etc. Let me know if this is what you are looking for, i.e if this project is valid since I'm seeing no activity or update to it. Sorry about the delay Delano, I have been waiting on the client to give me some feedback. I guess they have finally decided to revert back to their original logo. However we don't know who created it.

I have the logo re-created, and in high resolution. What I am posting here is *not* the high resolution, but to show you that I did recreate it. I have the 300 DPI version available and saved in Photoshop.

Hey Delano, that looks good but it seems like there is lighting on the top that is washing out the colors. Can you take that out so the colors are brighter.
Any chance you might have some better looking water?Also we can loose the text at the bottom.

Do you have any other info in regards to how the template should be laid out? What are the menu links, any other details would be helpful to get a clear understanding of the requirements, since it wasn't posted in the project guideline.

Don't worry too much about menu links etc. In fact just make a nice header and footer. This is another postnuke job.
