A bit more info would be helpful. Is the logo going to say Burkheimer Equipment or do you want the .com on there as well? How will this logo be used? Website only or web and print? Do you have a deadline in mind? What is the prize amount?

I want to use this LOGO on all my media,Letterhead,Website, and Trucks. I would like the lines through" BURKHEIMER EQUIPMENT" I would like font the same as DIXIE CHOPPER" on www.dixiechopper.com (http://www.dixiechopper.com). would like to keep it simple.could add a line under Company name as DIXIE does, they use "Worlds Fastest Mower. We could use "Maryland's Oldest DIXIE CHOPPER Dealer. or Marylands Home for DIXIE CHOPPER. ect. I'm new to this web stuff, But I've been selling DIXIE's for 9 years. They are the only mowers I sell. Maybe "Maryland's Only Exclusive DIXIE CHOPPER Dealer.
How about June 14th for close date? Can I close sooner if I get what I want sooner?

Dixie Choppers are sweet. I would love to have one to mow my yard. I would be the envy of the whole neighborhood :)

You can certainly close the contest any time you choose. A suggestion: If you find a logo you like, you may want to post an annoucement that you currently prefer "Logo X" and will be ending the contest in 24 hours. That way it gives all the designers fair warning. But it's your contest so it's completely up to you. If you like one, you can always grab it and run!

Here's one with the lines through both words which makes for a very loooooong logo :P I tried a stacked version but it is very difficult to read. Too many lines.

I added a second color to give it a little pop! I thought green would work well since you are dealing items that have to do with lawncare. Any feedback is welcomed. Thanks.

I wish I had a lawn large enough to require a Dixie Chopper! :( I'm on the typical postage stamp sized Los Angeles County property. *sigh* Man, I gotta pack the family and move!

I like the two color idea, would like the blue just a little lighter. I guess I need to drop word "only" exclusive. Maybe stick with "Maryland's Oldest"
These all look good, except the lines in both words is toooooooo long

Here's another. Take a look at the font I used for "Burkheimer". I think it's pretty accurate to Dixie Choppers.

Something to keep in mind when viewing color: You are looking at these colors on an RGB monitor which is not an accurate representation of the true color. The acutal PRINTE colors (your business cards, brochures, etc) will be specified as PMS colors (Pantone Matching System). Also, all computer monitors show colors a little differently so your logo it will look a bit different on every computer that you view it on. We can tweak the color as much as you want but your milage may vary.

I like 2 of them 07 with the green, and 09. can you put those two over one another. 09 would be good, except on trucks would be a lot of work. O' can you move Maryland------ under Equipment
