My client needs a logo for a new business she is opening as an interior desiner and architectural antique dealer. Below are the services and products she will be providing: Architectural Antiques
Design consultation
Home furnishing accessories
She really likes the style of the following website:
http://www.esdcharleston.com/

She likes a sans-serif font (very clean look) and earthtone colors. She is partial to a lighter background, but is interested in seeing different ideas.

I would like to see some sketches also of potential layouts of business cards and letterhead. Her current business card is 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" square and she really likes that (stands out). I don't expect a full letterhead/busiiness card design on this budget but she just wants an idea of what the logo will look like on paper.

If you have any questions just let me know, I will be available during the entire process. This contest tentatively ends on February 25.

Thanks!

I'm sorry, I forgot the name of the business. How am I doing!!

The name of her business will be:
Home

She does not have a preference as to case... uppercase, lowercase, first letter, etc.

Hello!

Here's my first proposal.
I thought that the logo should be clean, refined and minimalistic.

Little focus point is the letter "e" which is lowercase but the same size as the other letters. Typography is contemporary yet very elegant.
Colors are warm, earthtone and pleasant.
Four boxes on the left symbolize all the options and possibilities in arranging the elements of someone's interior and they also metaphorically represent four letters of the word HOME.

Hope you like it. :)
I am waiting for your comments.

Best regards.

Sorry I haven't gotten back with this - my client has been difficult to get anything out of and then I couldn't get in touch with her at all. I've met with her and am ready to move forward with the logo.

About the current logos - she did not like any of the current logos designed mostly because she said they looked more like architectural logos not interior design. She hasn't seen the last two so I will show her those now.

Changes - she is no longer going to be selling antiques in a store, only offering interier design consultation. The name will be "Home Design" with an emphasis on home. She likes the idea of all caps HOME with undercase design.

HOME
design

She still wants a square card/logo with earthtones and preferably a white or deep red background.

A new tentative deadline will be 4/8/05.

Thanks!!

This one is going to be moved out of limbo. Vertlime and anyone else involved in this project, I would ask that all of your entries be edited and replaced with entries using the standard canvas.

More details to come...

I'm working to get a standard design questionnaire filled out and submitted. Then hopefully we'll have some good information to move forward. Please don't start designing until I get her to fill it out. Thanks!!

OK guys, sorry you guys went to the hard work of designing logos only to have...... nothing ... happen.

I can't seem to get my client to do anything, so I'm going to pick the winner. If she wants something else, she can pay again :)

The winner is......

Vertlime!
