Hello,
I have created something in Publisher (zip attached) that I'd like to see enhanced. I'm not overly attached to symmetircal pics or logos, so any other design choices would be considered. However, the house, the colors and the appearance of windows/doors and steps are required. Not sure on the gray color but the blue is Pantone 662 C, I believe. You can play with how the colors are used but would prefer any wording be in the blue. Shading / three-dimensional would also be acceptable. Residential real estate is popular so a little "uniqueness" would be great!

The company name as well as the affiliate information is also pertinent.

This art needs to be appropriate for sizing on mailings, web art, letterhead, etc.

I am not placing a deadline on this but hope/need to make a deicision on the best design by the early part of next week. I will begin making decisions then until something hits home. I think I've provided a fairly decent starting point, other than it's in Publisher.

Thanks in advance for taking a stab at it -

Can you provide a different format of the example?

I'll have to see what else I can provide. Can I fax to you if nothing else? I may be able to scan it to you.

I have not gotten many efforts to this project and I'm not quite sure why.

Here's what it looks like. (*Don't ask why I have publisher  )

I really like the strength this represents - could you make the "Charlotte Residential Group" text a little more crisp / bold?

Yes, I like this better and the whole design in itself, however, the peaks on the left and right, could we see how those would look extended a little higher than they are now? Just checking contrast - Thanks-

I can't see much of a difference but I'll look at it closely again.

Maybe try to shift the peaks up just a little more on the left and right-

I do like your design and this follows more of what I originally asked about; I like them both so far. We are still discussing in the office and it will come down to they type of branding we desire most. Thanks for your work on this.

Hi, we were wondering how the infinite lines coming out on each side would look if they were made to appear as soffits - the portion of house rooftops? I know that's a little hard to go on, but see what you can do if possible.

ok thanks, we like the old one. The three peaks we liked, it's the outer two extended peaks we were looking to thicken...a little hard to explain. We will continue to work from the one before these last edits.

I just got clarification on what might help - see about the peak lines being all the same thickness from the peak to the ends. (use the next to the last edit) Thanks-

Ok, that's what we asked for but can we see on all three peaks / lines instead of just the outer two?

Hi,
If we go with this design, what formats are delivered? Also, will we have both color uses, the bule on white and then the white on blue (reversible)? Finally, would the art be able to be placed on signs and such and magnified without distorting the original design?

BTW, I think I like version 8 better than 9. Better clarity and distinction :)

You get vector files .ai and .eps this mean you can resize it without losing quality. I'll provide logo on transparent background, on blue backround and black & white version.

You will get some bitmap formats too like .jpg, .png at 72DPI and 300DPI.

I think I can deliver any graphic format you want, just let me know if you want additional image formats.

Cheers,

Adrian

Adrian and others,
I think we're going to go with the design from Design General. The logo best captures what we want long term in our branding. The other designs were great and unique in character but did not speak to what we were trying to convey even though I originally submitted a "house" design. I appreciate all your work in this...please know I think you all have wonderful talent. I will have other projects to submit through sister companies I'm involved in and fell confident in what you'll provide in the future if you take on any of my project(s).

Adrian,
How do we move forward? I'd like to see about the copyright and have found the form for you to fill out. I also need to know the difference between version 7 and 8, is there one? We can also make the final revisions, if any, and wrap up the formats I'll need.

Thanks to all -
May be a couple of hours before I return to the website - :)

Great news :D

Thanks for choosing my design :)

The difference between #7 and #8 is: on #7 the slogan is written on the blue bar and on #8 the company name is written on the blue bar.

Let me know what variation you like the best and if you would like to see any changes.

After that I can start to prepare files and send via email or a link to download files via private message.

Cheers,

Adrian

Great Adrian,
I think I like version 8 with the company name in the color bar. We're content with how it looks "as is." Do you have any suggestions for finalizing the look / copy? You are the designer and if there's something you think you can add / modify to make it better? If so, I'd like to see before we close up. If no changes, then let's move forward to getting the files completed. Thanks-

I like the best the #8 too. I think it looks good as it is.

I'll go ahead and prepare the files :)
