[Project Complete] Timber Creek Lawn & Landscape

Hello, I am Derek Ringer from Timber Creek Lawn & Landscape, I am looking for a professionally designed logo that will represent my company well. My company does new yard installs, retaining walls, and complete landscape projects.

The deadline is March 16th for this project and the prize is $150.00. I plan on having some other design work done after this project.

Company Name : Timber Creek Lawn & Landscape
Slogan : None, name is already long enough!
Colors : I am open to any colors in the logo, but try to keep it to the max 3, 2 preferrable. I would also like a black and white version.
Use : Everything - Trucks, Brochures, Business Cards, Shirts, contracts, letterheads - Everything!
Design Style : Nothing Cartoonish, Nothing overly Ornate, Something easily recognizable with no animals in the logo.
File Type: I would like to get a variety of file types as I will be sending this to many different companies for advertising. I will need a color and a black and white version of each. I am sure as a designer you know what versions I will need.

Let me know if you need any information. I plan on giving plenty of feedback. I don't want anyone doing any more work than they have to.

Anyway, show me what you got...I am pretty open to ideas, and I will let ya know if I don't like it.

Thanks Samoyloff for getting in there and getting me a design. I like where you are going with the design. But I think it could use some improvement. The tree looks like it came from the front of a christmas card. I would like to see another type of tree there. I also think if the green bar with the stream and lawn and landscape was vertically shrunk I think it would look better.

Anybody else have any designs out there. I would like to see some other designs.

Samoyloff - I am still not feeling the tree. The block parts looks alot better...is there anyway that you could round the corners on the bottom block part. I really don't care for the overgrown grass by the tree either.

Eziey - Great design...can you try a silver color instead of the blue...just to see what it would look like.

Wow guys...I guess I need to be checking up on you guys more often. There was a lot of activity today!

Samoyloff - I think we are going to have to give up on the first design. It is just not working at all. Your newest creation timbercreek04 is intriguing. I like the idea, but the way you are designing really doesn't meet my tastes. Eziey, mychicken and fabian really seem to know where I want to go with this. I like the sharper graphics, with contrasting colors, I like the text that they are using as well. I like that you keep trying but I am finding it hard to relate to your style.

Eziey - I can't change a thing about your design. I really like it. Its simple and looks great.

Mychicken - I like your first image. It looks very nice, I can't really change a thing about it. It's in the running. I am just not for sure if its what I want, but I don't know how to change it.

Fabian - I like your image alot as well. Very simple, very straight forward. I like the tall aspen idea, but I am not sure how it appropriate it would look. Since we don't see many aspens around here in Kansas.

You guys are doing a great job and giving me a lot to think about. I think you guys are getting to know kind of what I am looking for. If you guys think up any more designs I would be happy to give them a look. Thanks Everyone!

Fabian....The more I look at your design, the more I don't care for it. It just isn't right. I think we should go a different route.

Samoyloff...I like your newest design the best. Man, you don't give up do ya! I think the Timber Creek should be brought down a little away from the block. I don't care for the intereference. Can we try a different color for the light blue....it doesn't really fit. Maybe a darker blue, or a silver or gray.

Well tomorrows the big day! Right now I like Eziey's 1 and 2 the best. Followed closely by MyChickens 1st design. If anyone has any other designs they want to throw out I would be happy to look at them.

Eziey you are the winner. I like the Eziey 1 design. Please let me know how I can get the files. No Modifications are need. Please prepare color versions and black and white versions. I will need versions in many different formats as I will be using this logo for different forms of advertising. Truck, business cards, postcards, brochure, t-shirts.
